About New Burton Homestead 50+ Senior living
The New Burton Homestead is a privately operated senior independent living center in an extended family like setting. We emphasize a relaxed, retired lifestyle where everyone is treated with kindness and respect. Need assistance with meals, laundry, or housekeeping? We are here for you! You pay one monthly fee, no upkeep, no cost of homeownership. We include family style dining with three home cooked meals every day (guests may enjoy a meal with tenants for $5.00 per plate). We also have a spacious enclosed lawn for relaxing outdoors, and a grill for summer cookouts. Indoors, we have cozy, comfortable living rooms and common areas to relax in, watch tv, listen to the radio, or just read a book (curled up on a couch with a warm crocheted blanket!). Community bulletin boards are on each floor. Bathrooms are all new, private, large, and handicapped accessible, equipped with handrails. We are directly on Rome’s Centro Bus line, with a stop right outside our Floyd Avenue door. Rooms and suites are available furnished, semi-furnished, or unfurnished.

Nicknamed the Copper City due to its roots in the copper manufacturing history, Rome is a city known for its innovation and business sector. Located in Rome, the Griffiss Business and Technology Park is a massive complex that many private and public enterprises call home as well as employing thousands of workers. The Griffiss International Airport is also nearby. Another large cooperation, AmeiCU Credit Union, is headquartered in this booming city.
