Good location. Commercial avenues are nearby. Lake Michigan is nice. Staff and residents are friendly.

I think this is a really excellent place for single people or people with a kid or two..

Things are progressive and getting much better, with maintenance ??

Museum Walk Apartments has been my home since 2001, and even though it’s been many different managers, almost every single one of them made me feel like I belong here. My last maintenance request was to let me back into my unit after I locked myself out after hours on Friday, February 7, 2025. I was mortified because I didn’t want to make anyone have to come out on a Friday just to let me into my apartment unit, plus I was trying to not feel lonely and sad on my birthday. But when I called the maintenance emergency hotline, every person I spoke with when I called was so kind and patient and helpful, I didn’t feel embarrassed. I especially appreciate Dario coming out to museum walk to let me into my apartment unit. The kindness and professionalism of TLC’s response makes the lockout fee worth it. Thank you, Museum Walk and TLC!

Three years later and it's just not worth it, they arbitrarily raise your rent by huge margins, force fees on you for services you didn't ask for or have when you first moved in, no way to opt out. It's not worth the hassle at this point.

Nice area, right off Lakeshore. Building is kept clean. Very quiet.

Museum Walk provides A-1 services hands down, no doubt about it.

Everything is just so easy to access and the staff are very welcoming. The transition is very smooth.

The Museum Walk apartments is a fabulous experience in diversity. It offers rich candid experiences for supreme clientele. For those interested in pushing the letter of normalcy unlocking a fantasy of fine renting/leasing, Museum Walk apartments is one of the best options.

I've been living here for about a week, and it's my favorite apartment so far. The management has been very attentive to my maintenance needs, and the maintenance workers are friendly and accommodating, ensuring high-quality work. I believe I'm going to love it here.

I moved into Museum Walk Apartments in 2001. It was my first apartment. I upgraded to another unit in 2015, and I love it! No matter what life changes I been through, Museum Walk and the entire team, especially Kevin, who worked maintenance at Museum Walk years ago. I feel like I’m at home here. When my Dad passed, I spent most of my time with my Mom, but I’d always come home to Museum Walk. Caregiving for my mom was hard and beautiful, but whenever I came home to my own apartment, I could relax and have “me time” even for a few hours, and the entire Museum Walk team made me feel at home. They still make me feel like I’m at home, especially Ronnie from the Leasing Office and Sam from Maintenance.

The new office staff is the best since I have been living here which is 14 mos. Ronnie and Vicki do show a since of urgency to matters and resolved them quickly.

The Museum walk apartments are doing great things with community! There are great individuals involved within who are well-kept structured individuals making strides to bring up sustainability for a community facing common challenges.

Museum Walk Apartments is a great value for those who want the city at thier fingertips.

I am very pleased with the Museum Walk apartments. I love the ease to get to the lake and the apartments are close to stores and buses. David was excellent in helping me to navigate the application process and on move-in day. His assistance and guidance made a difference for me!

I have been in my apartment for 3yrs this coming July. I am pleased with my unit, love the location.

Thus far my experiences in the community (Museum Walk Apartments) have been great! Although he is no longer here, I wanted to also share my sincere thanks to David for making a difference in facilitating my move in to my apartment. It is no small feat to look for and secure an apartment when out of state. David was extremely helpful and this was greatly appreciated.

Museum Walk provides a slew of amenities within a finely crafted community. The location is amazing!! The units are also strategically designed to support the needs of residents for their unique levels of comfort.

Museum walk apartments is situated one block east of DLSD in the beautiful East Hyde Park neighborhood. This village offers vintage charm in a way that offers tenants an affordable and accessible housing option at all price points.

Museum walk apartments is by far the most poorly-managed building I have lived in. It took over a month for a severe leak to be fixed - they waited until my lease was up to fix it because they needed to replace the ceiling due to severe mold. Sure, the rent is cheap but it’s cheap for a reason.

I like the area and apartment itself, but the staff is very immature.

I have had a good experience so far staying at Museum walk I really have no Complaints

The office management is very attentive.. very polite and classy maintenance is a dream I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place

Every maintenance request has been handled exceptionally by maintenance except the mailbox being broken and never fixed, and the washing machines that don't wash, they just take your money and pour water over your clothes causing me to load up laundry and drive to the city and pay more to have my clothes actually washed. Parking is non existent and security can be improved but other than that museum walk is a great place to live. All of my other survey reviews over the 2 years I have been here, have been nothing but positive, so I can truly say TLC is a good company when they take tenants concerns serious, especially as it pertains to mail.

With a few updates I mentioned in my survey, Museum Walk would be a very nice long term livable apartment. This area is also being targeted on a daily basis by police writing tickets, making it an impossible place to own a vehicle. Other than replacing the washing machines and providing a human security guard, Museum Walk has a LOT of positives and I would recommend Museum Walk to friends and family.

Museum Walk Apts are kept clean and are in a nice area in Chicago.

Have only been apart of this community for a short time. So far so good, very pleased with the enter actions of the local management team.

Iv'e been a tenant for a couple of years now and I must say management and neighbors are very mature. The building is well maintained in my opinion and every minor issue I had was addressed promptly which was always concluded as a job well done. My only issue have been and probably always will be is the parking situation. Parking issues are running rampant in the neighborhood and that's a battle in it's own. If parking/outrageous tickets, fines wasn't such a headache, then Museum Walk would definitely be a good option.

If you’re struggling to find some place to live, maybe this is the place to be but if you want a comfortable, peaceful environment.. this isn’t the place. There literally was a bad drug deal that happened the same month I moved in and someone was shot in the building. People steal others packages and NOTHING is done about it. The place isn’t cleaned good. The laundry room is terrible because the washing machines are rarely wiped down and they don’t clean your clothes properly, once the wash is done, your clothes are soaking wet. This building really doesn’t care about the well being of their tenants! Take heed, DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I love Museum Walk Apartments. Its not fancy, but its cozy and always feels like home to me and the staff/management are like family.

Reasonable rent, great location and nice apartments with huge walk in closets, but way too much noise. Doors do not block out the noise in hallways and I can even hear my neighbor across the hall from me with both of our doors closed. Then there is the loud freight elevator. This apartment should never be rented out.

The apartments are great for the price and the location is convenient and a great area.

I have had no problems living here in my first here, but starting with repeated bathroom ceiling leakages (twice in two months) and the general lack of urgency to fix issues has made a frustrated resident. The property management must look into these issues and duly compensate residents for problems they have that are due to no cause of their own but by negligence by maintainence crews. I wish they cared more about their residents and understood our plight rather than behaving indifferently.

I moved into Museum Walk Apartments in August of 2001. Its my home; I always feel welcome here and the Management is very helpful and I feel like I am not alone when something needs fixing.

I enjoy my apartment. I like the closeness to a lot of things; shopping, transportation, laundry/fitness room, elevator and relatively peace and quiet most of the time. The availability of management is a plus. I will however have no choice but to move because there is absolutely nowhere to park. Too bad though because I was really looking forward to staying at Museum Walk for the foreseeable future.

It is a great place the single people with pets or young couples great transportation you can be downtown in 10 minutes

The staff is very attentive and friendly here, and Ive never had any issues with anyone here. Also, were in a great location.

Museum Walk Apartments provides a comfortable, clean, safe and professional rental experience. The location is near the lake and shopping is in walking distance.

Its a great place to live. Its affordable, has amenities, and convenient to local cafes, shops, and restaurants.

The rent is economical for the location. The building management is friendly and accomodating. The leasing manager, Sonia, is great!

GREAT ATMOSPHERE..WORKERS ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY...

The first day I moved it, I found Bugs. I spoke to the manager Tiffany and she said they were “just ants”. She didn’t do anything about it. Before signing my lease we were promised a hardwood apartment and we got one with carpet. So not only did I have an infested apartment I got a carpeted apartment infested with “just ants”. She refused to contact an exterminator, she said that was my issue I had to solve the issue on my own. Also people smoke in their apartment and the whole place smells like cigarettes. When my lease was coming to an end I was being charged more than I was supposed to pay. She claimed she sent noticed prior to being charged but not once if I get a notice. I was ready to sue this man agent. All in all Museum walk is a Joke. Do not reccomend.

Spacious and lovely apartment, the neighborhood is gorgeous and we have a great view of the lake.

Wish the management of the building wwas better. But its a great view of Lake Michigan.

Museum Walk is an ideal location for active young adults. Close to transportation and attractions, there is no limit to weekend adventures. The building is maintained well but be sure to always voice concerns with management. They are helpful and will solve issues only if you present them. Plumbing is old (old building) and needs an overhaul.
