i love living here so far! great great location and amenities. everyone is super nice here, it feels like home! people are friendly always and it is kept up well.
Multiple instances of water intrusion, parking was mismanaged and rolled out poorly, lots of additional charges. Doors and windows are cheap so outside noise is a problem. Amenities are poorly built, door frames get stuck, cabinets are crooked. Mold all over.
Great so far love the location. Can have improvements with front desk lady bud besides that have has a great experience so far. Would like to see more amenities.

This is a nice apartment and amenities. They used to have free guest parking which was great but then took it away mid year which is unfortunate.

The location is great and the front desk/management is amazing. The only thing holding back the final star is the appliances are a bit old. I would definitely recommend renting at this place though

Pros: Maintenance have been fantastic. Usually fast, always nail the issue, and pleasant to work with. Management are professional and also pleasant to work with. Literally the best location in Austin. Cons: There is at least one AirBnB unit above me, so every single thursday-Saturday night it is loud at 12:30-2am when they come back from partying.

A few things needed slight fixing upon moving in and maintenance was great and responsive!!! So much better than other places I’ve lived. Leasing office was great too helping us get everything squared away.

Too many platforms and parties involved in the process. The muse and greystar, a third party to submit documents with a poorly designed portal, and each process takes a few days to be reviewed. I ended up sending proof of renters insurance, proof of cable and utilities in an email because the portals were useless.

Living at Muse on SoCo was an incredible experience that I will always cherish. Nestled in the heart of South Congress, the location was unbeatable, providing a vibrant mix of culture, food, and entertainment right at my doorstep. From quirky boutiques to delicious eateries, there was never a dull moment. The convenience of being able to walk to all my favorite spots made it a perfect place for a young professional like me. The location is awesome! It’s on a prime spot on South Congress and super walkable to downtown. Perfect if you want a downtown feel without technically being over the river!

This location is unbeatable. I have enjoyed living at the Muse so far. The staff is amazing and very responsive.
Location is great, I like my apartment, and the pool is nice. Aside from that, everything else is a disaster. The parking lot is a mess (the arms to the lot will be broken off like once a week cuz someone didn’t feel like paying and just ran through them), the mail system hardly works, the front desk workers aren’t very helpful and somewhat rude (they acted pissed off that I would ask them about fixing the mail system after my credit card was stolen), they lied and told me I’d have a full balcony, and to top it off a homeless man is living in the staircase next to my front door.
I like the vibe the MuSe spreads across, however, I'm not sure whether Greystar sponsors them, I think they take more than 2 weeks to fix pretty much anything. Not a quality standard, but rather a way they are used to deal with things.
I love living at The Muse. The location is great, and the whole team here is extremely nice, helpful and on the ball!
Love our apartment. It’s a great location. Love how it’s newly renovated and is not an enclosed apartment. Love the amenities. Maintenance crew is really nice and people at the front desk are really nice.
The staff at Greystar is absolutely phenomenal! They’re always there to help and answer questions, even outside of working hours. We love the location and amenities, but the helpfulness of the staff tops it all off :)
Biggest problem - shared parking with Equinox gym. Gym members take up almost all parking (exceeding their designated spots) in the garage and often times hold up the line to exit the garage because they don't validate their parking. Equinox owns 3 buildings that used to belong to the Muse and they are run down and broken into on a daily basis. There is litter and garbage everywhere and security doesn't respond to any concerns or calls for those buildings because they aren't owned by The Muse. The area over there is unsafe at night time. Management is unprofessional and ignores requests for assistance or information. They will ignore your emails or phone calls if you have an issue whether it's a maintenance problem, payment problem, etc. During the winter storm, they came into our apartment and removed electrical covering and left exposed wires out with no notice of entry. The walls and floors are extremely thin, you can hear your neighbor at all hours of the day. The exterior of the buildings are dilapidated and falling apart with no maintenance for over 4 months. There are major bug problems as well. A lot of extra fees once you sign your lease and Valet Trash often neglects trash leaving the hallways to the apartment dirty and inviting more bugs.

I've been living at Cityview at Soco for the past four years and have seen the complex have three different owners. Camden, the first owner was awesome, however I only had the pleasure of living with them managing for two months. Then the devil, The Connor Group, took over the complex. The Connor Group was the worst experience that I have ever seen apartment management be. They didn't care at all about the people that lived there and never listened to a single word that anyone had to say. They never fixed ANYTHING! Horrible company; don't ever live with them being your management. Now the complex is run by Roscoe Properties and WOWWWWW it's incredible to see what a place can be like with true love and care given to it. The Roscoe staff in general (both the office managers and the maintenance crew) really make this place a million times better than it used to be. The employees don't change everyday (like they did with Connor Group). Shika, Chris, Courtney, Carissa, Luciana and Taryn have been there since the office got taken over and are all absolutely wonderful people with huge hearts. They get to know your name, i'm amazed I even know theirs, sometimes even your apartment number (in a good way) and are really "empathetic" people! That is something that is completely new concept to any of the former residents at this complex that dealt with the wrath of the Connor Group. Now, the age range is being adjusted back to professionals, the pool has been fixed and is beautiful, apartments get updated (in style), items that are broken get fixed within a reasonable amount of time both at the complex and inside of the apartments. They are giving the entire vibe of the complex a huge facelift and it is really starting to show and look incredible! The team listens to you, they care, and they then fix fix fix. This place has become a complex that I'm proud to live in and happy to be at home. The location is no longer the only reason that I live here :)

Great location, great amenities, great apartment. Cityview is amazing and the staff there is great too, especially Tanesha she's the best.
The location cannot be beat--walkable to downtown, Lady Bird Lake, plenty of restaurants and shops on SoCo. The office could be better at communication, though. When we signed our lease we were told we would get $500 off of rent for signing by a certain date and we had to remind the office 3 times after move in when they continued to tell us we were $500 under our rent payment for the month. Then they sent us a rude email saying we needed to turn in the apartment walk through sheet...which they never gave to us. They have always been friendly and the building is great, the office just doesn't seem to have it all together sometimes.
You really can't beat the location of City View at Soco. You can walk to everything on South Congress and bike to the rest of the city. I honestly haven't used my car in weeks! The pool is beautiful. Quiet during the week but pretty crowded on the weekends. Sometimes can feel a bit "just out of college" but hey, we could all use that from time to time! They recently renovated the deck by the pool and it is incredible! They have couches, four tvs and brand new grills. The management is very friendly but not the quickest at responding via email. I suggest giving a call if you need something asap. The apartment itself is great. I live in a two bedroom with my brother and they have the perfect, two bed/two bath layout with the rooms on opposite sides. AND a washer/dryer! The rooms are pretty big, I don't even have enough furniture to take up the space. The countertops aren't updated but they are dark laminate which is perfectly fine. When we moved in, we had minor (livable) problems. They fixed most of them and the others were so small, I did not push the rest of the maintenance. (sometimes I'm picky) Rent isn't too bad, especially for the location and renovated pool area and gym. You do have to pay valet trash which is annoying but I quickly got over it. This is a great apartment if you want to stay as close to downtown as possible, while having great access to 35 and south congress. It's the most upkept apartment in the area without having to break the bank. Management is very helpful and nice - You might even make a new friend!
