From white-water rafting on the Cheat River to rock climbing at Coopers Rock to shopping for antiques, there's good reason Morgantown is the most popular destination in West Virginia -- add in West Virginia University and the reasons just become more impressive. This park covers 71 acres, and the mountain is 1,398 feet high.

Considered a top-ranking research university, WVU was established in 1867 and features several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Residents of Morgantown can visit the university's Core Arboretum, which is free and open to the public. Residents can also cheer on the West Virginia Mountaineers at various sports events. The Mountaineers compete in NCAA Division I as part of the Big 12 Conference.

tried to work with Cindy in local office not professional at all , called and emailed corporate to follow up, no response, they will ignore you.

Location and Comfort

Best location, so close to Downtown Campus. The building is pleasant and well maintained. My daughter had an efficiency, as she was ready to have some privacy and security. The apartment is roomy and nicely appointed. Big, bright windows. Nice view. Huge bathroom! Manager was pleasant and helpful, and when the washing machine couldn't be fixed, they ordered a brand new one. A lovely, peaceful place to live.

Great Apartments

Extremely nice apartments. Very close to downtown, washer and dryers are in unit. Very fast maintenance when needed. Would recommend, resigning for my second year!

Amazing Place

Lived here for two years and enjoyed every second! Very spacious and clean. The staff is amazing and are quick to answer any questions or fix anything that needs to be fixed. Highly recommend living here!

Great Place to Live!

Absolutely loved living at Mountaineer Place. The location is the best in all of Morgantown. The staff is accommodating, friendly, and available whenever needed. Plus the apartment is better than any other apartment I have been to in Morgantown. It is a large space, with the rooms and furniture being fantastic. If you get the opportunity to live here, do it!
