The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at MOUNTAIN VISTA
It was what my family needed getting back on our feet. Management does what they can, I feel they can only do so much with a budget they are given. They have regular maintenance doing carpentry, plumbing, and other big repairs that would need a professional team. Cheap fixes, water damage under sinks, overhead showers and even water leaking from the walls. Raised rent with no updates to the units, repairs to amenities, gym is often in repair and saunas haven’t worked in over 18 months. We regularly see indoor and outdoor roaches ( multiple species ??) have seen mice in the kitchen, cleaned dead mice from traps ourselves that we didn’t know were there and hear mice in the walls. We didn’t get access to the pool until late July, near August and only one pool is ever opened at once. Not worth the rent amount.

I can honestly say this place has been good to us so far! Have been living here for almost six months and haven’t had any issues except for the occasional bug that comes out of nowhere but honestly I’ve been to places where it has been way worse!

I moved in 2 years ago and absolutely love living here. The staff is so helpful and always get things done in a timely manner. Highly recommend applying here!
Have lived her 4 years there's bugs everywhere. Cars are constantly being broken into and vandalized. The electrical in these buildings is ridiculous. The north side is horrible for drugs they do nothing to protect their residents. Insulation sucks these places freeze in the winter. These apartments are a dump oh yeah, did i mention the bug? Steer clear of mountain vista and their horrid office staff.
It was good the first year, then they started to raise my rent after a year and after another. Not by much but it was surprising. They have been very patient with me and I have yet to be kicked out. I am grateful for their patience. Their pool is a fun place to swim for my kids and it's near by places. Maintenance could be better but they try their best.
i have lived at mountain vista for 4 yrs. The management is rude and have done nothing to keep there homes safe, clean and liveable. I have asked for new carpet as we have had issues with bugs of all kinds and after pulling the carpet we found an infestation under the carpeting where there is not even padding. They refuse to do anything and charged an extra fee of 500.00 dollars to exterminate on top of our normal monthly fee. This is only one of many issues they will not take of the whole building is infested with bed bugs and the staff will not do anything but treat after you pay 500.00 extra they refuse to paint put new carpet. I would never recommend a friend and we are looking to move as soon as we pay the 500 we had to pay and save for moving cost.
my area not enough lighting they take to long to fix thingsalmost everyone has roaches
Mountain Vista Apartments is a decent choice for temporary living. The location is pretty good, right next to Tramway blvd. It's a busy street but you don't hear much from the complex. A movie theater, Fun center, and some pharmacies are close amenities of this location. The view of the Sandia Mountains is stunning, can't beat that. The staff and the office is probably my biggest problem, when you ask for a small repair to be done it will either take weeks for it to get resolved or it won't happen at all. Then they have the audacity to ask "How was the repair?" Well let's see, "it never got done!" Other than that it's a pretty decent apartment, the size of our three bedroom is a pretty good size. We live pretty comfortably here, but beware if you need the office's help.
