I know not everything is fine all the time but overall this place is pretty good, if you get to know everyone that works there like I did, you’ll fine them to be very professional at what they do and also very nice people, always willing to help, you just have to ask, the property manager goes to extremes to make sure everything runs smoothly, she’s a great person. Like I said this is the best building I ever lived in, thank you again for making it so enjoyable…

If you want homeless people sneaking into your lobby, Amazon packages stolen, cars stolen out of a gated garage, dismissive concierge and reception, i would highly recommend this building

If I could take away stars I would!!! First of all, like everyone, we were originally excited to move into this building. THE DAY WE MOVED IN, I spoke with someone in the elevator who was moving out and told me, "The building is great, management is terrible" a few months later I came to agree. I have a very young family with two small daughters so safety is high on my list of priorities. From homeless people wandering the building to drugs falling onto our balcony to gates being constantly broken and cars being stolen. Elevators are constantly broken and packages are dropped off in a small room where your package may be opened and contents stolen. We have not felt safe AT ALL. Building management is not PROACTIVE but REACTIVE, they will wait until something happens to you then ask why were you there, victim blaming at its finest. We pay $150/month for preferred parking on the 3rd floor which gets us front row to any car thieves as experienced late August which turned out to be the car directly next to ours being stolen. Gate was broken at least 2-3 weeks before building management decided to hire "Security" to control the wide open gate access from 6pm - 6am, because everyone knows car jackings only happen after dark. That reaction could've been quicker. Since then, gate has broken twice, first was address quickly, however this second time, not so much. Gate has been broken since mid December and per the attached photo taken yesterday, Monday, Jan 3rd, 2023 @ 9:42PM, we just get cones and still no guard to make sure only paying, authorized tenants can access. VERY, VERY SAFE. We reached out voicing these concerns and more on 11/6/22, took management 10 days to realize they should respond since the contact we had "no longer worked here", Great. At this point we were convinced, let's leave before the danger gets any more serious. Per the signed agreement, we are required to provide management with a minimum of 60 days notice prior to moving out so we did, advising on 11/6/22 we would be leaving 1/9/23, fair right? WRONG, management denied us from releasing us from the agreement even though State of Florida requires Property owners keep my family safe. Good luck and stay safe in this war zone. J.E.

From the start of my lease, Motion was a disappointment, from the management crew back in June 2021 telling not treating me well and being super rude, to not caring and management not even replying to my emails and requests. My experience at motion is the reason I decided to leave Miami. I hope they change management soon and improve the quality of service.

For a building that is relatively new, the Motion already felt like an old, rundown building when I moved out. Things that were broken, such as equipment in the gym, was never repaired or replaced. For example, one of the weight machines has been unusable for almost nine months because a cable was never replaced. A section of the mirrored wall was cracked at some point and it remained broken several months later when I moved out. I reported in January that someone had thrown up in the staircase between the 7th and 6th floor. Two weeks after that complaint, the stains were still there and it still reeked of vomit. disgusting! The lack of security was glaring, too, especially since there have been several thefts from the bike storage unit in the building. My bike was stolen from that room, which only tenants have access to. It took someone from the Motion more than a week to get back to me about it. They didn't even bother to save the footage from the security cameras so police could properly investigate. Considering the proximity to the metro rail and a busy mall like Dadeland, security should be a priority. Instead, at some point in 2021, the building decided to do away with some front-door personnel and just have their leasing agents handle doormen duty. Incredibly cheap. The problems with parking were also frustrating. Even though it was entirely the fault of the building for not properly doling out spaces to renters from the start, the only solution the new management company came up with so people could have a parking space was to force tenants to pay more money to guarantee a space to park their car. It was an immensely disappointing experience living there. The location is convenient and the staff that is there works hard, but management doesn't seem to care about properly maintaining the amenities the building has (which are nice) or about creating a safe and secure atmosphere.

Nice building and amenities, and the front desk people are friendly and try to be helpful. Residents are friendly, and the area is convenient to a wide range of businesses, restaurants, and shopping, and appears to be safe Parking is a problem. Oversold units with too few parking places, thus do not allow any guest parkin nor is there any available in the immediate area. Apartment smells of mold, and mold grows on everything - furniture clothes, shoes, etc. Worried that it could affect health.

Motion has a really nice community. Target is just across the street and the walkability score is pretty decent. The canals surrounding the building make it seem to be more attractive. It is about 20 mins away from MIA Airport and closest beach is Key Biscayne which is about 30 mins away. Neighbors are nice. However, the walls to neighboring apartments aren't too thick, but if you are cool with neighbors, they will let you know the level of sound they are comfortable with. It is a good neighbor's rule. The only problem that arises from time to time is neighbors parking non electric cars in electric car charging stations which makes very hard for those who depend on the electricity, but again, management are constantly working on changing it. I have received tremendous support from the management team when it was needed to address an issue. Maintenance is pot on. Each request is actioned in less than 24 hours if it is not an emergency. I could have not imagined a better place to live.

We moved with our family in the end of 2020 and we love to live here! The apartment is amazing, the staff very friendly and the amenities are fantastic! We definitely recommend Motion At Dadeland to live!

Everyone is extremely friendly, from the office staff to security guards to maintenance people and cleaning crew, they are all ready and willing to help, the new coffee machine is great, the building is kept clean and in good condition, this is a new experience from a 40 years of a big house, but we like it so far, thank you...

The building is very nice and amenities too. But administration can sometimes be obnoxious.

This place is close to everything - malls, restaurants, grocery stores, metro.

My move in at the motion was seamless. Leasing staff was very helpful and the apartment itself is amazing. Great amenities, great location and amazing view. I couldnt be happier.

Not the greatest choice Ive made. The amenities are great but my experience with my unit has been a disaster. Living facing the north side is great except when Enterprise rent a car puts off their car alarms every hour to find a car in the lot.

Motion at Dadeland is above and beyond what renting should be like

My boyfriend and I were looking to leave the place where we were at, we had been looking for months now and we finally stumbled upon Motion at Dadeland. I instantly fell in love with the unit and the staff was fantastic throughout the whole process. We had the pleasure of working with the leasing agent, Karla. She has been great and made this whole process as seemless as possible. We're appreciative of the staff and most importantly of having come across this amazing facility.

The environment is great, the staffs are polite and friendly. However, some applicants just can't work. Neighbor's dog is barking all the time, I told the leasing office but nothing happened.

Apartment full of insects

Overall excellent quality, quick response to everything, kindness around the building, good location, excellent apartment.

I have been moving at motion for a one month, this apartment is very convincing, it is nearby the metro rail, so it is save lots of time to go to the university, cross the motion, there have Target(where you can buy most of daily products)pharmacy and restaurants. In addition, on the six floor, motion already equip the gym, yoga room, entertainment room, swimming pool.movie room, study room and so on, what a comprehended fundamental facilities. I love motion ,it is absolutely a great apartment

Motion At Dadeland is a Great community and great overall services. The location is great, there is a shopping plaza across the street and its convenient for grocery shopping. It is also nearby the station which is very convinient. The leasing and management team are very friendly. Zaida has such a great attitude and very sweet.Rebecca, Jasmine and Melissa are very helpful. The apartment Complex is also pet friendly and they even have a pet wash! I recommend living here 100%

Motion at Dadeland is a comfortable and luxurious apartment building that has all the amenities to help me excel in my studies.

Average community and average overall services, nothing particular unique and outstanding compare to other communities.

Gorgeous apt, great location, a little pricey but also great staff

Moving here has been a nightmare. We were excited to move into the unit but never took into account how much noise you’ll hear from your unit because of the metro rail. The train runs from 5am till 2am and you hear the train every single time. Additionally there’s never ending construction going on at the building and at the dadeland station. We have never had a good nights rest in the building. We will not be renewing our lease nor would I recommend living here.

This building has opened with a BANG!!! The staff is extremely professional, timely, and prompt communications. The amenities are amazing!!! The views are so beautiful. Watching the sunrise from my balcony with a cup of tea has been THE best. All staff has been extremely pleasant. Cant wait to enjoy my living here
