The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Morgantown Properties
We moved into Bon Vista apartments in Morgantown wv on March 1st 2024.Denna is a wonderful person and will try to help in anyway possible. We moved out on August 29th 2024.You don't want to live here....when we moved in the carpet in each room was dirty and had paper and looked like chuncks of dirt laying along the walls that we had cleaned up before moving in but they are supposed to be cleaned professionally but sure didn't look it.we didn't make a fuss because we thought that when we moved and cleaned the carpet it would be good enough BUTTTTT boy was I wrong $230.00 for carpet cleaning they charged us.Our heat and air never worked right. The geat would just run and run and the a/c would not cool any lower than 75 if Temps outside was more than 80.It would run for 2 hours and never changed the inside temps. They had a man come to look at it and he said that the a/c units was not large enough to handle upstairs heat but the company would not fix it.And then the people that lived under us would go out drinking on Friday and Saturday nights and wake us up at 2 or 3 in the morning being loud and playing music and laughing and had to call security on them at least 4 times and nothing at all was done about it.The same people would park their vehicles so close to use we couldn't even get in our cars to leave and our vehicles would get big dents and busted hubcaps all the time and even hit outside mirrors so much that they hung down but again nothing was ever done about it.Then after moving out they charge you $230 to clean your capets even though they weren't clean when you move in.Then they will charge you for things that will use up your deposit and if you don't pay UT within 3 weeks they turn you over to collections with telling you that you owe it.I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews before moving in because there is lots of reviews just like mine for the same things.

Kathy and Robert, we're so sorry to hear you were so frustrated during your move-out, we agree that it should be easier and we'll try to be more communicative. We should have mentioned that we provided records that we have showing that the carpet was cleaned prior to your move-in and that we walked the apartment with you when you moved in and signed off on it's cleanliness. Since apartments are normally left in "broom swept" condition, we should have helped you to understand that it doesn't normally take so long for an apartment to be cleaned. Our team had to spend an extensive amount of time deep cleaning your unit so that it could be ready for the next tenants to call it home. I'd be more than happy to provide that documentation for you. For any of our residents dealing with neighbor disputes, we absolutely address them with the residents and issue lease violation notices where they're warranted. Congratulations on buying your house, we wish you a long and happy life there.
Management is absolutely horrible and a joke! Never answer the phone. Numerous wrecks due to not salting or plowing the lot. Tons of attempted thefts because there is no real security. NOTHING DONE ABOUT IT EVER! Dog poop everywhere. Dogs without leashes and dogs were in the community pool. The washer and dryer machines never work. Clothes never come out clean or dry. It is a cheap place to live but safe the headache and move somewhere else!

Living there itself was not great. I had water pressure and hot water issues the whole time i lived there. maintenance would come out and "fix it" but it was never resolved. When i moved out the real nightmare began. I moved out in July 2022 i expected to receive the security deposit and the balance on my account. It is now December 2022 and the office avoids my calls and shuffles me around. I am promised that the manager will get back to me but she never does. They never answer my phone call no matter what time during their business hours i call to inquire about the issue. They have no respect for their clients.

The apartments are nice, walls are thick, and I've been left alone just fine. Only problem is I've already called 3 times about a major maintenance problem and no one has called me back or picked up the phone, despite it being during operating hours.

I lived in a one bedroom apartment the Villas section of the complex for three years now and I've never had a single issue. The management staff is responsive and the maintenance crew is very helpful. The apartment is in a great location near the Suncrest Towne Center and is quiet. Great for families or grad students!
