Property Ratings at Montage | Rocky Hill
I’ve lived here for a while and have always loved the look of the property. The apartments are beautiful and the location is convenient. But lately, the outdoor maintenance has gone completely downhill, and it’s become a serious health and safety issue. The grass hasn’t been mowed in well over a month. It’s now knee-high in most areas, including the dog park, and completely overrun with ticks. Even with flea and tick prevention, my dogs comes back from walks covered. And if that wasn’t enough, there are now actual snakes coming out of the grass and onto the pavement. I don’t feel safe walking outside or taking my dog out at all. To make matters worse, this complex has some of the highest rent prices in the area so you’d expect at the very least for the grounds to be maintained. Management switched to a cheaper landscaping company this year, and it shows. After only one visit all season, they claimed in an email that a new company would be starting soon… but we’re still waiting. It’s incredibly disappointing to see such a beautiful and expensive property be so poorly managed. Residents and pets deserve much better.

I've lived in multiple apartment complexes and by far Montage's maintenance team is the best! Al, head of maintenance, does EXCELLENT work each and every time! He is consistently thorough, helpful, tidy and always has a very positive and friendly attitude. Al is very conscientious, haven't seen that level before! It is apparent he wants the tenant to be satisfied and happy. Montage is very fortunate to have him! I hope he is here for a long time! Vicky, part of the maintenance team, does a really great job keeping the buildings clean and is always friendly and kind and a hard worker. Lucky to have her too! The office staff is receptive to the needs of the tenants as well. My experience is that tenant concerns are listened to and addressed. Dixie, the Property Manager does a super job! I really enjoy living at Montage. In my opinion, it's the best apartment complex in Rocky Hill!

The apartment is spacious, the grounds are clean and the amenities (dog park, pool, clubhouse/billiards, grill, fire pit) are appreciated. The greatest thing about Montage is Al (facility manager/handy man). I’ve had several issues varying from refrigerator problems, garbage disposal clogs, and other concerns. Al has fixed every problem; quickly and accurately. Al is such a sweet, helpful person who always makes you feel like the priority. I feel lucky to have Al here to help when issues arise. Al has even helped me carry packages all the way to my door - without even being asked. He is always trying to help others. He’s also so kind to our dogs, who love him immensely. Everyone I talk to at these apartments has amazing things to say about Al. He goes out of his way and above and beyond for every resident. We are extremely grateful that he is here.

Love living at Montage!! I have two huskies and we love how dog friendly it is! Love the dog park and enjoy the friendships we’ve made with fellow residents. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The staff are very pleasant and quick to resolve any issues. We especially appreciate Al in maintenance! He cares very much about all residents and goes above and beyond! He has always resolved any maintenance requests very quickly and is very kind to all residents and dogs!! :)

The apartments are beautiful, but when first contacting them, do not believe the price they tell. When I was trying to apply for the special they gave me 24 hours earlier, it suddenly wasn't available anymore and the price increased significantly.

Montage has been noting but a relaxing, calm experience since we moved in. We struggled to find an apartment community that came with all of the amenities we wanted and had apartments that lived up what they showed online. When we came across Montage we were blown away. The pictures truly matched what we saw through their website and were even more beautiful in real life. We fell in love with the two bedroom Bel Air and experienced the smoothest, most enjoyable move in we've ever had. The staff was so helpful and friendly and always made sure to let us know that they were there if we had any concerns or questions. We've been here now for almost a year and couldn't imagine being anywhere else.

Montage is an amazing place to live! My neighbors are great and it is a beautiful property with so many amazing amenities. The location is prime being we're just a second from the highway. We are minutes from Starbucks, and so many other wonderful shopping spots and restaurants. To top it off the leasing staff is always warm, professional, caring and very responsive. I love living at Montage.
