Property Ratings at Mission Rockwall
Today when I arrived at the apartment I came in to an absolute filthy Dead in living bug infested apartment. First off the dishwasher had standing water and chunks of unknown something sitting in the bottom of it. The air filter for the air conditioning system was so dirty and had so much dirt in it that when I opened the intake cover the filter fell out and a cloud of dust and whatever went everywhere. It was definitely false advertising if you use pictures on the website to get an idea of what your apartment will look like. There’s no microwave no stainless steel in the kitchen, if you think you’re gonna have counterspace think again after you have to go out and buy a microwave. They were dead bugs everywhere and turns out they’re living bugs everywhere. There’s water damage in kitchen drawers there are dead bugs in kitchen drawers and chunks of unknown substances inside the kitchen drawers from the last tenant. All in all I wouldn’t suggest this place to my worst enemy. I’m glad that all of my household goods are at least a week behind me before they’re going to get here, seriously reconsidering and thinking about moving somewhere else even though this is a new lease.

I have lived here 3 years and I am counting down the minutes till I move. When Highmark/Milestone took over about 2 years ago this place went to hell. They have poor communication and no empathy on issues regarding your home. The community director is the worst but the others in the front are pretty awesome. Sucks they have terrible leadership. The apartments themselves are a little older but have few issues. It is a great area, with great an amazing school and phenomenal neighbors. But until the management changes I would not recommend to a single person.

New management has come in and are making a lot of changes. Some good, some bad. For example: they’re doing exterior work on the apartments which is fine except they start working right outside your window at 7am on a Saturday Morning! I rarely get Saturday’s off. I was looking forward to sleeping in and now that can’t happen. This is unacceptable!

Few month ago we moved to Mission Rockwall. Before moving to our apartment, I called and spoke to the management regarding cleaning up and possible damages. The management promised to fix everything. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with Mission Rockwall at the first day of moving. The bath was too dirty and we saw many damages on walls and doors. I called and sent emails to the management and ask to send somebody for cleaning; she said we send tomorrow for sure! but she never send anyone. The apartments are old but the most problem with Mission Rockwall is the poor management. The management is too rude and does not respect tenants. The only thing we receive is notice letters not a good service and community.
I lived at my Mission Rockwall apartment for a year and my experience was very pleasant. The community is quiet and there are so many things around. It is close to the harbor!! Staff at the office was very friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests were completed the same day!! I had to relocate for work but I would recommend Mission Rockwall to any of my friends.
Complex is aging and the web payment method is very poor and does not provide the service is says it does.
Do not find trash valet necessary. I was charged $25 a month for it and the city also charges a trash admin fee plus sewer fees. I was paying $40 a month for a guy to take a bag of trash to the dumpster every 2 weeks. At $25 a month, It's not worth $300 a year.
you are going to pay a lot of small fees like trash pick up and they have a pest guy come once a month into your apartment I have yet to have this person visit my apartment and I work from home when talking to other residents you find out that people are 50/50 on the love hate and the biggest complaint is price you are paying a lot to just have an apartment with no updated appliances you are either going to love the place or hate it.
My experience with Mission has been terrible. 300 electric bill in a w bedroom. 76 degrees in my apartment everyday. Management will not do anything about it. They said they have done everything they can. After 2 months of service calls, still the same. Do not recommend these apartments to anyone. Doesn't even deserve 1 star.
I feel the price is marked higher than what it should be. The apartments are a bit older than others, but charge the same amount of rent. Doesn't make sense.
I would recommend this complex because it has a nice and pretty quiet with exception to my neighbor. Updates are needed badly and lower rental rates would make this place stay full. Larger exercise room, clubhouse, outside grilling area by the pool, updated appliances, floors, and lighting. Also, too much dog poop on the premises.
The apartment is not fancy but the location is worth a lot to me. The staff is great, the grounds are clean and the location is great.
I have communicated to family and friends that if any were to find themselves needing an apartment, this community offered wonderful personable service and a very pleasant apartment community for them.
This is a beautiful community with well kept grounds . As you drive in through the gates, you drive through a canopy of green lace trees producing a restful and welcoming shade. In the mornings you can hear, the birds singing their symphony of praise to their Creator, Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The office staff is always courteous and quick to take care of maintenance requests. Each apartment has a large balcony to watch the beautiful Texas sunrise's and sunsets. This is a wonderful place to call, home!
