It is named for (and includes) the very popular Miccosukee Greenway, a 12.3-mile trail used for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and jogging. Miccosukee Greenway is a large area that consists of several small communities, including Brewster Estates, Lafayette Oaks, Arvah Branch, and Hillwood. The neighborhood changes from one end to the other; closer to downtown near Magnolia Drive, it is much more urban influenced with large office buildings, shops and restaurants, and the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
