Maintenance isn’t the best and it’s pretty expensive for being really small apartments. I’ve been without a dryer for over a week now and there is no ETA on when that will be resolved. There was a leak in my apartment for days before that was finally resolved. And apparently having the AC go out doesn’t constitute as a “maintenance emergency,” despite our inside temp matching the outside temp. The property is pretty and I like the pool. Excited to move out, though. Overall decent and felt relatively safe.

f I could give this place zero stars, I would. Meridian Lakes is hands down one of the worst apartment communities in Indianapolis. The units are outrageously overpriced for what you get – outdated interiors, thin walls, and constant maintenance issues that never get resolved properly. The management is a nightmare to deal with. Delana, who runs the office, is beyond unprofessional – rude, dismissive, and downright nasty to residents. Instead of helping, she makes every interaction more stressful. The customer service is non-existent, and you’re treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying tenant. The maintenance crew is equally terrible. They take forever to respond, and when they finally show up, the work is sloppy and half-done. Be prepared to call back multiple times just to get the simplest repairs fixed. Save yourself the headache, stress, and money. There are plenty of apartments in Indianapolis that actually respect their residents and maintain their property. Meridian Lakes is not one of them.

Overall, good! The walls have such thick paint that it’s kind of bothersome and sticky, and it was known that we were moving into an apartment that should have had a W/D, but that unit was broken for weeks. I was glad that otherwise the apartment was clean when we arrived, and the staff has all been super friendly. The utilities and communication have been good. I love being able to text ML too.

Good service on my refrigerator The technician spent adequate time determining that my old one could not be fixed and then said he had one in stock and would switch it very soon. He did so in a timely manner, and I am happy with the new one

My experience I been living here for almost two months and so far it’s been good. I don’t have anything to complain about. The office staff is very nice. The grounds are well maintained. It’s a very nice quiet place to live.

My Refrigerator repair I had my Freezer go out after office hours & called the Emergency maintenance # after hours & the man Name was Mitch came right over Quickly & fixed my Freezer w/ out even knowing what the problem was @ first, I mean he explained this happened w/ these Refrigerators before & got the part & fixed it right Away. It was the Timer Switch that wasn’t going on & was broken. He came from your other Property @ Willow Lakes & did a Great job! Thanks Everyone!

Staff has been great Have had some minor maintenance requests since move in as well as some issues with cigarette smoke smell coming from a neighbor. Staff has been amazing with trying to help neutralize the odors and response time. Jonathan from maintenance was nice and eager to resolve a leak issue in my shower as well. Jessica and other office staff were quick to place a maintenance request for me and get me taken care of!

Move in was smooth and easy Jessica was awesome. I showed up a little early and sent her a text and she was there within 10 minutes! She gave me a checklist and got the keys in my hand quickly and easily!

I’ve been here for 3 years and I love it. It’s quiet and convenient with my school being so close. The only thing I wish for is a bigger closet and better parking spaces or assignment parking. Other then that a wonderful place to live.
