The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Meadows Apartments
We've been here almost two years now, and while all the apartments I've lived in have had similar layouts, color schemes, and parking issues, my experience at the Meadows has stood out because of the management and location. I really do love the neighborhood (elementary school, park, bike/walking path with many resident ducks) and its proximity to grocery stores. Management has always been incredibly responsive to issues, whether it was a maintenance problem like a broken garbage disposal, or clearing up miscommunications on lease signatures. I also appreciate that they keep our packages safe in the office and out of the hands of porch pirates. My past experiences with apartments in Portland and Gresham have been that any time you needed to ask something of/or communicate something to management, it was best to prepare for a bitter, protracted fight about that thing (or to be ignored), so in that way this experience has been incredibly refreshing.
I have really enjoyed living at The Meadows! My one bedroom, one bathroom apartment is on the second floor and has a balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Nearby is a cute little path by Periwinkle Creek where I often see people playing in the grass and feeding the ducks. The maintenance and office are so friendly and always very helpful. Every problem I’ve had (minor things like a broken closet rod) has been fixed promptly and with no complaints or hassle. I hope to be able to live here for a long time!
I’ve live in one of the 2bdrm/1 1/2bath townhomes for the last several months with my kids and two cats and highly recommend living at The Meadows! The office staff and maintenance are all very helpful and friendly. It’s always very quiet and feels safe! The little bit of noise is from neighbors greeting each other in passing or the landscaping being mowed for us :-) I highly recommend giving The Meadows a try.
We have lived here now about 3 months and management Dana is awesome very professional and friendly. Maintenance is great they take care of our needs in timely manner. Very quiet place and very clean . Love living there oh and they have a very clean playground for the children i would recommend living here . Lupe Chavez satisfied tenant ?
I've read your one review on an apartment, I see 10 people actually left the page wondering and so this is my statement. I never judge an apartment managing company unless I can see reason and I find the apartments seem to be very nice, well put together and so far I have to find for the management, I'm a perspective renter and I think personally that the apartments I;ve viewed on line of the Meadows are worth my attention. Perhaps the lady that was so disgruntled from her experience with her apartment may have had other problems as well. Ants are know to visit this area of Oregon but they are easy to maintain but like the lady with the problems, she stated that she was young and PG at the time. Good luck to her and the next apartment she rents and to the management, it's sad that no further reviews were written ....Tana
We lived here in 2013, I'll tell you about my experience back in 2013. The apartment was on the bottom. Summer brought in a ton of ants! A TON OF ANTS. I was pregnant at the time and it took FOREVER for them to finally come in and spray. All along we had to have our bed in the middle of the room and fight off ants that kept coming in over and over.... The people sped in the apartments. I remember my neighbor worried about her kids because people would have NO consideration for kids at all... I had to yell at a few to slow down, even with the bumps... Now lets get to the wrongful EVICTION! Like I said at the time I was pregnant. I found out I was pregnant in July. We moved out in August I believe. In September I lost my son. We paid what ever they asked to get out. WE PUT THE KEYS WHERE THEY SAID! (On the table) we CLEANED! We did exactly what they asked, HOWEVER: They slapped on redoing the locks for everything the keys had. The locks for The front AND back door, the locks for the garage the locks for the mailbox. They dinged us for that. They never gave any of our deposit back. They kept putting notices of eviction and EVICTIONS on the door when we were moved out and there were people cleaning. We were in Portland and I was being induced when we got the first eviction. The court date was set when I was setting up the funeral for my son. We had NO idea any of this was happening. WE thought we left on good terms. We had ABSOLUTELY NO WARNING. WE had NO CALL! We had nothing to notify us. When we came to get the eviction stuff that they KEPT putting on our door that our neighbor kept grabbing, there were people CLEANING THE APARTMENT when we picked the eviction notice off the door. Literally, carpet cleaners with the door open, window cleaners and there is the eviction. Then a week or so later my old neighbor told us that there was ANOTHER on the door. (I'm wondering if they still did notices with the NEW people in there. Though that apartment stayed empty for a while) IF YOU DON"T WANT YOUR RENTAL HISTORY DESTROYED, DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! They are underhanded and quick to mess you over! We are trying to get an apartment currently and they said we can't get one due to our rental history. The wrongful eviction that we should've never gotten. We were young, IT was our first apartment together. We trusted them. I suggest you stay clear of this place.
