Perched on the New Jersey coast between the Navesink River and Sandy Hook Bay, Middletown is an upscale residential suburb with a healthy dose of beach town flavor. Residents enjoy a large network of public parks, including the beaches of Gateway National Recreation Area. Just outside of town, venues like the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank and the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel attract major touring acts throughout the year.
Thanks in large part to its scenic location, low crime rate, and terrific schools, Middletown is a popular choice among folks raising families, and frequently appears on lists of the best places to live in the United States. The North Jersey Coast Line and the Northeast Corridor both offer service to Manhattan, making Middletown a great choice for commuters.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at McGuire's Grove
We have lived here for over 10 years now, we love the place and the surroundings and its always so nice to go back home after a days work. Maintenance staff are friendly and will always assist whenever we have any issues. The environment is nice and clean, we are not city fans so living here is just perfect for us.
I called couple of times no answer and no answering machine, I drove there 2 times and she goes to me I’m very busy and I don’t have time to pick up everyone’s call or call them back, but promised me there is 2 one bedroom apartment available sept 1, and that she will call me back, I faxed her all the paperwork too, A week goes by and I don’t hear from her, so I called again and no answer again, so I drove there and she goes I’m processing your application, now it’s been 1 whole month and still no answer, she has horrible customer service behavior, while I’m there she goes to me to hold because she is busy with a cat, like seriously, also she lies constantly, she needs to be fired, this place probably losing customers because of her lies and her laziness

Hello, thanks for your feedback. The leasing agent that you dealt with is no longer employed at the Property. We sincerely apologize for the lack of professionalism you experienced. We hope that you would consider giving us another chance. Christina, our new Leasing Agent has a lot of experience and will be a breeze to work with. Again, we apologize for the experience you had and hope you will allow us to make it up to you!
I had been trying to work with these people for over 2 months. On every single website I would visit there this location would be showing availability. After finally reaching somebody I was told her work hours are 3 days a week @ 2 hours per day. 6:30pm - 8:30pm... what a joke.. They wouldn't setup a appointment, would never call back or respond to my messages. The Agent said she would be there and they never showed. I called the corporate office and they said they didn't even have availability. I asked them why they would post it on every single website that they had availability to move in December 1st?? Corporate said they always do that..... This place is a complete joke, they will waste your time and give you the run around... don't bother....
I have been trying to see a model because I’m interested in renting/ office manage, crystal, never responds back or picks up phone. Imagine how they treat their current tenants if this is how a prospective tenant gets treated.
This place has not been maintained in a very long time. Every building is covered in black mold between the walls. There are lamp posts that have been out for 5 plus years with exposed wires in multiple areas. Management is sneaky and lies. There are currently 52 empty apartments at this site. That signifies there's definitely something wrong here. It's a shame because it's a beautiful area and I think they rely solely on that to jack up the prices and their crappy Apartments and never upgrade anything. Their other properties are in ghetto areas.
I've been to many apartment complexes in the past few months all throughout Monmouth county. This was a location in which I had hopped to call my new home. The location for me because I do not drive, is the best. You are in walking distance to everything. The grounds were neat and clean. The rental agents were very friendly and helpful and worked with me on securing an apartment at McGuire. Unfortunately, the management company does require that your credit score be at least 600. I was just below that and was declined for having a poor credit score. The apartment I viewed was bright and spacious. I would highly recommend looking into getting an apartment at McGuire. Regards, KSV
Moved in almost two weeks ago....so far in love with my place...perfect location....gorgeous hardwood floors.....very clean! Laundry room extremely large and not crowed. Neighbors very friendly and have even met someone who as been here for ten years!!! That speaks volume to me. Come see for yourself. By the way Dawn in the rental office is AWESOME
