Property Ratings at MartinBlu
My wife and I moved in over a year ago after just getting married and have since upgraded our unit to a 1 bedroom from a studio in the same building. I feel qualified to recommend this building to first time apartment shoppers, families, and people gearing towards retirement. While it certainly seems the demographic is younger, through building events we have met some wonderful tenants who since retirement continue to call Martin Blu home. Every morning when I take our dog out before work, I see children preparing for the bus to school, people grabbing communal coffee, other pet lovers taking their animals out, and more desires I assume people have when vetting for places to live. Our unit is quite and comfortable. We have had excellent neighbors, in both instances. The team that is in the office is knowledgeable and approachable. The maintenance team is beyond exceptional. I know I had concerns moving into a new area, but Martin Blu does everything they can to help their tenants call this place home.

I've lived at Martin Blu for two years. I am moving out of state next week, otherwise I would have renewed my lease. Anyways, I want folks to realize how great the staff is here... I have roughly two weeks left of my lease and about a month ago, I broke my ankle. I am non-weight bearing for another three weeks and literally ALL of the staff (front desk, maintenance ,etc.) have went above and beyond to help me (I live alone and don't have help to move 40 lb boxes in a knee scooter!).I've never lived at an apartment where I can get a maintenance response (let alone total repair!) the same week. If you work nearby, definitely take a look. My only caveat is that I am single and in my mid-20s and Eden Prairie is more of a married-people, people-with-kids place. Work-wise (location), I could ask for nothing more! Definitely take a look :)
We recently moved from another state and absolutely love it here! The staff all go out of their way to be helpful in connecting us to whatever we may need; hair salon, chiropractor, good food,etc...The maintenance is great as well, building always smells and looks clean and everyone has a smile on their face. To top it off, they remember names! Very impressive.
Apartments are small with an awkward wall, housing a water heater, right in the living room of most floor plans. Management would send sharp toned emails for petty things. Seating areas on rooftop terrace were covered with large spiders and cobwebs, weights being dropped in the gym would echo loudly through the furnace system on 2nd floor, and finally they took 20% of our deposit for 'touch up paint' (the walls were spotless, we hung a few pictures which is considered 'normal wear and tear' at any other complex).
The apartments are brand new with a modern design. The units have updated kitchens, appliances and beautiful hardwood floors. This 21st century decor is shown throughout the building, with a huge lobby, a community room with a fireplace and a fitness center. MartinBlu also has a large terrace with two bar areas for grilling and socializing, with comfortable seating areas and gas fire pits. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always available for assistance.
This apartment is so beautiful! there is a lot to do if you have people over! the parking garage is heated. I would definitely live in this apartment!
First off its beautiful. Everything down to the lobby is just well designed and with character. The staff is very welcoming and take care of your every need. There is free amazing coffee in the lobby and bikes to use for the trails. Italian restaurant right next door. Now for the apartment itself well the lay out is so efficient for a 1bed room so much usable space and makes so much sense. all the furnishings are top notch. the internet is wifi built in no need for a router even. 2 separate gyms one for the yoga types and one for weights. They thought of everything. the community space is well laid out with nice furniture. As for parking well even the cars get windows underground. Honestly I can't find a single issue or complaint about this amazing place to live.
