Property Ratings at Marquis at Ladera Vista
Good location. Truly within five miles, there is everything you need. Grocery stores, Costco, Sams club, movies, normal too high end shopping and ovrr 100 restaurants. All personal needs such as doctors, hospitals, dentists, salons and car care. The apartments have been refurbished with modern finishes. The pool, Jacuzzi and grounds are kept well. They are not energy-efficient as newer apartments. However, deer and squirrels and birds enjoy the huge trees and greenbelt at rear of property. Great maintaince crew. Rent on high side, but so close to major roads and convenient shopping and eating, it is worth it.
My apartment has a great layout, especially for me as a self-employed individual with a need to have a home office. I really didn't need a 2nd bedroom (nor the cost of one) and this unit has a small "study" or den space which is just perfect. Two big windows bring in lots of natural light and I have great views of the beautiful courtyard. Great setup which increases my productivity!
Everyone is very friendly at this place. It has been here since the 90's but they still keep the grounds in good condition. There are lot of a dogs (all on leashes). There is a very nice inner courtyard where you can take your dog for a walk, and it is very common to see deer roaming the area. It is very close to many big companies, and grocery stores. The office staff is very very nice. They are willing to work with you in most cases and seem to actually care about their residents. Maintenance requests are always complete promptly and well. The staff even remembers our names and which apartment we live in even before we say anything. The gate breaks now and again (like any gated apartment complex does), but this is the first place that actually fixes it in a reasonable amount of time.
