Property Ratings at Marquee on 5th
The place is quiet and the apartments themselves are nice. But the buildings are falling apart, the A/C is central to the entire complex and frequently goes out or is turned off for maintenance. Same with the water, often with no warning. Residents don't properly use dumpsters so trash is everywhere. No recycling. The parking is awful, covered spots are not available for new renters (there's a wait list of about 7 people) and uncovered parking near your own building is rare. No accessibility for upstairs apartments.
Please do not be fooled by the pictures. These apartments are nice looking but lots of issues. For one the if the chiller goes out you have no A/C and it happens a lot. Then when they start it up it takes forever to get cold again. Garbage everywhere. They don't have the right size dumpsters, so garbage overflows all the time and is everywhere. Attracting javelina. Be warned getting anything fixed takes forever. Needs new management for sure. If you get a flood good luck and make sure you have renters' insurance. They don't care they just start jackhammering and it's a mess. All the pipes are underground.
Been living here going on 3 years, love the pool/ gym always clean . Two convenient dog parks on site and walking trail next door. Cute little park across the street for the kiddos. Management/maintenance is relatively available at all times. Their communication is spot on for any questions/concerns/work on the property.
My daughter and I moved into the Marquee in Nov of last year. We’ve had such a great experience from the tour to the application to the move-in! Reanie made it so easy. Even after the move, Mark has been on it with work orders! Plus you can’t beat the upgrades and amazing view! Best decision I ever made!
