The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Madison at McLean
I have lived here for the last 16 months and the experience has been sub par. Aside from a GREAT maintenance staff - I have not enjoyed my stay here. The property is poorly constructed. You can hear EVERYTHING happening outside in the parking lot and in your neighbors home. The floors are uneven when walking. There’s an odor that saturates your home randomly throughout the week. No amount of plugins or cleaning can rid your apartment of it. The property is not as secure as they would lead you to believe. Residents are not able to book the community room for private usage and management says that community areas are not apart of our rent payment. Although they say it’s an amenity to make use of. Management does not respect your privacy or confidential information. They post personal resident information on your door rather than in your mailbox or even giving you a call. I’ve come home many times to letterhead with my name and contact information sitting in the crack of my door. Your packages are thrown in the mail area and you may or may not receive communication that the mail has arrived. Management never answers the phone when you have a need but implement “policy” when beneficial for them. I submitted about 10 noise complaints before I ever received a response. Management is extremely inconsiderate of the resident. They rarely know what’s going on around the property. There have been many nights police have answered calls to car break ins and we do not receive any correspondence from the complex notifying every one of what has occurred on the property. All in all, Madison at McLean is NOT a luxury apartment.
You are really paying for the area. You really can get better for what they are charging. They are nice looking apartments but it seems like they just threw them together structurally. This is my first apartment and I didn’t expect to hear the person that stay above me so much. You can literally hear them sit on their bed. The floors boards in the bedroom make these loud sounds, that literally wake me up out of my sleep. It just seem like the flooring between the floors is super thin.
