Best community ever! Everyone is incredible from the staff to the neighbors. By far the best community in Charlotte. Very walkable neighborhood as well which is amazing!
Been here for a little over a month, no issues! Great location, clean, free coffee. Far enough away from the main bulk of traffic, but still close enough to all the good spots. Better for a more low-key person who only likes to go out occasionally.

I lived in North Carolina for a year now and decided I wanted to move to South End to be closer to the city. There are a lot of apartments in south end but this one really stood out. It felt like a great community. The leasing agents specifically Sydney because she gave me my tour were amazing. Sydney spent 2 hours more with me to help me find the perfect apartment for me because I wasn’t satisfied with the first one I toured. She literally didn’t eat her lunch until she knew I was signing. The staff goes above and beyond for you. I am very excited to move on not just for the staff and community but the apartment is in a great location and kept up very well. Regardless if you are looking at other places I would recommend looking at the Maddox in person because it may persuade you to sign with them.

Kaitlyn was great in helping me move in a new apartment while not physically being at the property. I toured this property last year and on a whim decided to check the rates since my plans changed and I would need to reside in NC for another year. Everything was quick and easy. This complex is nice and clean. The maintenance team is always quick to respond to issues and very nice! There is an app so you can use your phone to get in the front door and rail train entrance which is nice, but I wish it was available on all the entrances

I've been living in Maddox since '21. I chose to stay here becasue not only do I love my apartment but, also the leasing office and how they take such great care of their residents!
My time at the Maddox from being an out of state new resident has been amazing. It is in the perfect location to easy access to restaurant's, entertainment and weekend famers markets. Most importantly I feel very safe living here.

We’ve been living at Maddox Southend for 18 months and, overall, have enjoyed our experience. The building is always clean, and the facilities are consistently in good condition. The staff are helpful, and the maintenance team, in particular, is always kind and quick to assist. That said, we’ve had an ongoing issue with our new neighbors directly above us. For the past few months, there’s been frequent noise, including what sounds like furniture moving and walking with heavy shoes, often late at night and early in the morning. We raised this concern back in December but never received a response. My wife also mentioned it to Melonie when the neighbors first moved in, but it was dismissed. We understand the issue may be due to poor sound insulation, but it has affected our comfort. Despite this, the friendly community and supportive staff still make Maddox Southend a pleasant place to live.

All the people from the office to people walking around are so nice. The complex maintains a clean atmoshpere as well as a secure environment.

Good location! However you can see the wear and gear on the building. Everyone has been very friendly. The lighting fixtures in the building are either crooked or dirty. Most of the baseboards in common areas are very scuffed up. The finishes of the building scream one year rentals. Staff is nice and residents are friendly.

The Maddox South End apartments is a wonderful accommodation. They’re in a great location with an even greater community. The amenities are amazing and I’ve had zero complaints since moving in.

I have loved living at Maddox, the management is so nice, always on top of any issues, they have amazing communication. I also love how much effort and time and creativity to making unique community events. I truly dont see myself leaving.

Maddox sets itself apart from other apartments in South End for its high quality amenities and top notch apartments. The apartments themselves are a higher quality than others in South End. The kitchen (glass cabinets and under cabinet lights) and bathroom (real tile shower) are especially luxurious. The leasing staff and maintenance team have always been kind and helpful! Would highly recommend living here if you’re moving to South End!

I have lived in Maddox for two years. The best part about living here is our apartment life coordinators. All the events they plan are so personalized and memorable. Also, the amenities at Maddox are top of the line. I love the proximity to work in uptown.

I do not have enough words to describe how much I love living at Maddox. Not only is it a great property to live at (let’s talk about the pool vibes) but the staff is always SO nice and super helpful. Especially Rachel. She goes above and beyond to ensure her tenants are cared for. Maddox also likes to be super inclusive by creating community events that tailor to everyone’s liking. They also started a pet of the month club where my dog, Huxley, was the first dog they featured! He loved it! Highly recommend Maddox

The amenities, the location, but most importantly the people make this apartment complex incredible. Eliza, who works for the leasing office, especially made my move and my stay 11/10. She will personally go above and beyond for her residents and people interested in the Maddox. Always a smiley presence too. :) The location is so close to everything, which is ideal when moving to a new city (like I did). Overall, I have had the most wonderful time at The Maddox and hope to relay this goodness with others!
