My daughter rented an apartment here for one year and upon moving out, we found there were mold, spores loaded everywhere within her apartment. In the walls in the air conditioner vents and throughout the entire apartment. She was sick for 10 months straight with respiratory issues and could not figure out why. Upon moving out, they still charged us a cleaning fee. Unreal.

This is my second year here and so far so good. The office staff are always friendly and helpful and the maintenance staff are awesome. I haven't had a lot of requests but the times I have put one in they have responded within 30 minutes and always completed the job. Matt has been the maintenance person for many of the jobs and he is very efficient. The grounds are well kept and the maintenance staff is out every morning picking up the loose trash throughout the property. Ms. Jean is especially hardworking. She always makes sure the property is well maintained. The place is pet friendly and there are plenty of grassy areas to walk the dogs.My neighbors are friendly and the property has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere also there is more than enough parking spaces. My one bedroom apartment is very spacious and the location of the complex is close to everything.

The worst place. It’s gross, tired and just needs lots of work. There are so many apartments in the area. DON’T EVEN WASTE YOUR MONEY! Seriously…I moved out after 3 months..don’t do it

Bugs are a common feature in the apartment. I have done everything I can to keep them away and I still manage to see at least one in the apartment once a week. I’ve done my own sprays and have had the pest control service they provide come by as well. Maintenance hardly ever finishes a job, I’ve had floor coming up in the apartment since the day I moved in (over 6 months ago) and I have put in multiple requests for it to be fixed and they come look at it say they’ll be back with the tools, and they never come back. They also paint over EVERYTHING. The bathtub had rust all in it and it was covered up with paint and has been slowly revealing itself as the paint chips away. Water damage was painted over as well.

Roaches everywhere. A Murder right in front of office! Hidden fees. They will charge you for everything when you move out! Disinterested office manager. Read your lease. You pay coming in and you will pay going out! They don't give anyone a break. No matter the circumstances.
Very quiet, plenty of parking, friendly staff, appliances need upgrading but other than that no complaints, great location and maintenance is spot on if you ever have a problem.

Where to begin… We’ve been at Lakeside for a week and honestly it’s not great. I’ve put in 2 requests for the same maintenance issue and it hasn’t been fixed and there’s been no communication regarding the issue. Our air conditioner is currently not working and I have zero faith in it getting fixed in a timely manner. The apartments are small, dark and have not been well maintained over the years. There is paint on the carpet throughout the apartment where the trim was last painted, the mirrors all have rust spots, the air vents are filthy, we can smell cigarette smoke when we walk in despite neither of us being smokers, the faucets all have lime deposits on them… the list goes on. Honestly we’re already regretting signing a lease here.

I love my home at Lakeside! The staff is so great, they really care and try to help as much as possible! The property is well kept and the pools are beautiful! The office staff provide fresh water with fruit in it everyday. When you go inside the office you get to see the same people which is really hard to come by these days! I will definitely recommend this place to other people.

I’ve lived here for 2 years and am moving out in a few months. Lakeside is okay, it has a couple of pools, tennis and volleyball courts. Their fitness center is pretty bad, hoping they upgrade that soon for potential renters in the future. The new maintenance crew gets things done immediately and that’s really great. They are increasing their prices to match the nicer apartments around them, but aren’t truly worth what they are trying to charge. It’s a safe environment and the office staff is pretty nice for the most part. Great place to start out.

This place is absolutely horrible. I do not even know where to begin. The management staff is incompetent and all around rude. My maintenance request always fell on deaf ears; I would put in an order and it would take 2months for them to come out and fix my problems. When MOLD was growing in my apartment they came and painted over it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The management office at Lakeside Apartment was very dishonest & snotty even we share our concern about our apartment. Maintenance guy gave us not professional attitude. Also they promised a fireplace apartment but was relocated to apartment with no fireplace. When we share about serious condition in our life. They don't care and they just want your money. Lakeside Apartment is not good place to check in. I encourage you guys look somewhere else. What's more there are TOO many stray cats around trash bins. Lakeside apartment did nothing but let cats lying around and do their own business. It's very gross. We are so happy to be out of their nose. Do not check out with them, please save your money and look for better service of quality.

First off the management is rude. Apartments are old and falling apart. My first apartment here in building 2 we didn't have ac for the 1st month and a half. I was told by the management welcome to real life kid when complaining that mold was growing under our sink after our drain from our sink slowly leaked for weeks till it finally reached the apartment below. Now the second apartment was even worse. It was in building 3. Our carpets were dirty, ripped and smelt like wet dog. There were also roaches. The maintance staff will come without any notice. They knock once and walk right in. Being a young woman this was very scary walking up alone to a man in your kitchen fixing your refrigerator. I wouldn't recommend anyone living here .
This place is wonderful. It's beautifully built and the community is very peaceful and quiet. I fell in love with the huge lake view and the ducks swimming in it. Plenty of trees and lots of shade for those hot summer months, which also helps with the electric bill. The staff is friendly, very helpful and quick to respond to the resident's needs. Nice size pool, court and gym area. I also love how close it is to everything like grocery stores, restaurants and movie theaters. It's also 10 to 15 minutes away from the beach!
I have stayed at Lakeside Apartments for the last two years. Coming up to the end of my second lease I cannot say I will be renting here again. Although the immanence staff is competent and are able to do their job, there are far too many jobs for them to do. The apartment grounds are moderately well kept however the buildings need renovation. I have loved my stay in these apartments however the constant maintenance issue has lead me to my final decision of not be re-renting from Lake Side. Positive notes are equally weighed with the negative. Great location, great staff, pet friendly and manageable.
My first year at Lakeside was a blessing. Lot only did I find the amount of space I wanted but it was at an affordable price. Paying rent was very easy; at that time we could bring in checks , money orders, pay online or promise to pay. The property manager made it a breeze to live here. Maintenance staff are always quick to help you and make sure your safe. Anything I need Victor was quick to help. My 2nd year I downsized to their larger one bedroom and I fell in love with how cozy and quiet my unit was. It's a safe neighborhood sometimes I accidentally slept with my door open. Midway through my 3rd now and I've recommended 3 people to live here. They all are stills residents and enjoy it as well. Leasing staff are always quick to hear your needs and find ways to make it happen. I go in there at least 10 times per month to pick up my many shoe packages!! Lol your always greeted with a smile.
