My studio apt is the perfect sanctuary, the surroundings couldn’t be anymore perfect for what I need access to on the daily… it’s beautiful, beautifully kept up, staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rats have overrun the 4 story building. Rats are breeding in the walls and feeding from trash chutes. Maintenance and pest control have pulled rats out for months but the problem persists. Dead rats smell through the walls. City health inspectors are aware and monitoring the problem. The front office is incompetent.

Post Legacy at Shops of Legacy. 4 story building. Rats have overrun the building for months. I’ve had maintenance tickets opened since last year. The rats are in the walls and run between the ceilings/floors between floors. Breeding inside building. There are now baby rats. Rat dropping everywhere. They feed from the trash chutes. Maintenance and pest control pull out rats from traps weekly but not doing enough to address the problem. The front office is incompetent. Avoid this MAA property.

Where do I begin... 1. The leasing agent Eva was very unprofessional by telling me, regardless of being Wrongfully denied, incorrect information pertaining to my application. And even after I informed her that the information she was telling me was incorrect. 2. I called and spoke to another agent named Alyssa. She then told me, after explaining my situation, The office manager would call me back before end of business day. Well manager Samantha decided not to call me back. But emailed me a long non helpful email two hours AFTER business was closed. NOT very professional at all. Pretty much letting me know she purposely waited to respond to me so I couldn’t call her back within the business hours. 3. When i finally did receive help, it was from the rental history company they used. And upon speaking to them, I was informed that Someone at Post Legacy had improperly entered my Information WRONG! And that was the reason I was denied. It wasn’t credit or the incorrect information that was originally being shoved down my throat. 4. Here’s the kicker... when i received my denial letter in the mail. All my personal and denied status was visible through the opening of the envelope. This Is UNPROFESSIONAL on ALL levels of contractual business agreements. And here’s my reason on why I WOULD NOT refer this place to anybody that I know!! Not even my enemy!!

This apartment complex has had issues with fire alarm system for months, being woken up at all hours of the night with blaring sirens is unpleasant to start with, but add in pipes breaking and flooding my apartment with gallons dirty, smelly water really takes the cake. The management is poor at best taking a defensive stance immediately instead of showing any care for my pet or myself. Please do yourself a favor and avoid MAA complexes at all cost.

Visiting my daughter from out of state wanted to make sure she was in a good place. I had to actually come on and do a review to say she chose such a great home. The service staff here is over-the-top exceptional. She had told me she did an online work order in the a.m. and by noon I did have a gentleman knocking at her door. Name badge on, I wish I had looked at it so I could get the name correct but I know he did say Erik I am just unsure on the spelling. He took care of the minor work order that she had placed but in the meantime did notice a light out and when I mentioned the AC not blowing very well he also checked that. She ended up being very well taken care of and filter changed AC blowing great lightbulb changed out and he even changed out smoke detector batteries to make sure everything was good and put me at ease. When offering if I needed anything else I told him I would let her know to do a work order. And he said he will take care of anything that needed to be done right then, that MAA was about top customer service. So I wanted to do a review to say he did meet that! My daughter has also told me the office staff ladies are very great to work with and super nice as well! Sounds like there is a great team here. Thank you

Overall I am satisfied. A few things that have been an issue is the way outgoing mail is handled in the office. I have had packages not go out for 5 days- after I ripped the leasing agent who promised she would make sure it went out. And recently I had a package that I put in the outgoing USPS box go completely missing. It should have been scanned and tracked, but it completely "disappeared" and of course no one is going to take responsibility. This year I moved from an apartment on the 4th floor, to an apartment on the 1st floor, outside the building, on the street. I am glad I did this, because there are a mess of issues that I no longer have to deal with such as the elevator that is always out, the gates thats sometimes don't work, messes of water in the halls, and just the overall appearance. On the other hand, an issue that I do deal with now, that I didn't before is the very loud music that comes from the nearby "nightclubs" on Friday and Saturday nights. I do wish the management would get together with the Shops at Legacy to come to a reasonable solution. No reason why there should be music playing OUTSIDE of Sambuca & Pepper Smash that loud, that it could be heard all the way in my apartment. But overall I love the location where I live. The service people do a great job getting work orders completed in a very timely manner. Mostly I leave in ease, and have few complaints. I am only mentioning the items above because you're asking for feedback on things that could be improved.

Post Legacy has been a great place to live. The management is extremely friendly and helpful, and maintenance is always performed quickly. I have no complaints living here.
It?s been really positive. The place is dog-friendly. They neighbors are really nice as well. Sometimes they break the 10pm-7am curfew of being quiet, but everyone here is respectful. The Post Legacy employees always answer my questions in a timely manner.
Great Location. Updated apartments. Concerned about the lack of emergency back up lighting in the hallways. Would love to have access to package pick up after office hours.

I'm proud to be a resident at Post Legacy. Affordable luxury is within reach here! This pet-friendly, gated complex has fast, stable internet, amiable staff, and great thermal and sound insulation. Maintenance staff respond quickly and productively to issues that arise. My only gripe is that I don't have granite or marble countertops in my particular unit, which diminishes the level of luxury I feel.
Both the neighborhood and the apartment itself are exquisite, and I especially love the unique open floor plan, but the windows and back door are in terrible need of replacement. Drapes flap from the wind blowing through the cracks, and you can hear every sound from outside as though it's in the room with you. Also someone thought it would be a good idea to paint a west-facing exterior wall in Texas black, so the upstairs area is basically uninhabitable from June to September when it's not cloudy outside. If it wasn't for the totally noise-transparent windows and the 2nd floor reaching literally 92 degrees in the summer with the AC on max, I'd really have nothing bad to say.
It has been unbelievable from maintenance to the property representatives and manager. Our apartment is great and love living here.
Very good. Only problem is neighbours get rowdy at night and walk really loudly. As well as constant yelling during the weekends
Post Legacy is the best apartment experience I have had. My apartment is absolutely fabulous as well as the complex. I never hear my neighbors which is a plus. The office staff are magnificent and always help with a smile
Amazing staff to help you with your concerns . The Maintenance is quick as well. Location gets 5 stars . At the front office allison ( i guess is her name, She is new) helped me choose the right apartment . SHe was amazing.
I thoroughly enjoy living at Post Legacy. I love my space and how easily accessible it is to restaurants, shopping and the tollway.

It?s, nice however the elevator is always breaking down
In 8 months my cars were broken into 3 times in the parking garage which is across the street from the police station! Not only did they refuse to help out financially, they wouldn't and did not even step up security like setting up camera's in the parking garage. Gates are all to often broken, and doors just pull open. MAA and the staff were not helpful and washed there hands around the safety and well being of there resident's property. I broke me lease to get out of a place that I feel is unsafe and would not recommend Post Legacy or MAA to anyone.

I moved in a couple of weeks ago to the Post legacy apartments, and I must say that I love it so far! The staff is very quick, helpful and polite to your needs and will contact you right away if they're any problems. I live in the green building, so it's very quiet and the security and safety of this place is great! The only downside, I must say, is the parking is pretty bad. But what do you expect when you live at the shops of legacy!
I've lived here for about 6 months now. I'm very happy here, the only complaint I have is that it can get a bit noisy being right on the shops. I love that there is so much to do in walking distance. The staff and residence are all very lovely people.
This is a well kept building with a nice community. No problems with the staff or neighbors, and maintenance was always quick and polite with repairs. I liked the convenience of living in the shops, but there are much cheaper options about 5-10 minutes away.
