Lyon Village Apts

This apartment was so great, especially as a new grad. Here are the highlights! Location: LVA is close to CVS, Metro, grocery stores, and coffee shops/restaurants. Also, it’s far enough so it stays quiet at night. You really cant beat this location. The space: our 2br1ba was very spacious and for the price we paid, it was an incredible value. Closet sizes and bedroom sizes were fantastic. The kitchen was also very sleek and updated. The staff: Faye was so great, we loved her sense of humor and attentiveness to our issues. Also, the maintainance crew was responsive and efficient. The only minor downside was that the fitness center doesn’t have a ton in it - but it is still useable, and the apartment is close to several fitness studios

We lived in a 2-bedroom apartment at Lyon Village for 3 years before moving away. We loved our apartment and would recommend Lyon Village to just about anyone! The apartment was spacious and neutral (white walls and beautiful parquet floors) with good windows and new appliances. The apartment was shockingly quiet - we never heard any of our neighbors. Maintenance staff were amazing - we would submit a request online and they would often be there within a few hours. Faye is a fantastic resident manager - she is very organized and responsive. If we ever had any questions or problems, Faye would take care of it right away. Reasonable parking and a short walk through the neighborhood to get to the metro. Overall a great place to live!

I have been living in a one bedroom apartment at Lyon Village Apartments for almost 4 years and loved it. The rent is much more affordable than other apartments in the same neighborhood. The apartment is very spacious, has a lot of windows (hence natural light), and decent in-unit amenities (e.g., washing machine/dryer, dish washer, gas stove). The kitchen has good amount of storage cabinets. Faye, the property manager, is very easy to work with and on top of everything. Any requests I had were taken care the day of. The maintenance team is very friendly and polite. The apartment complex is within walking distance to Clarendon metro station and only a few bus stops away from Rosslyn station. Highly recommended!

Lyon Village is by far the best place to live in Arlington. I'm so glad I ended up there, though my stay was unfortunately only two years. The apartments are extremely well maintained and have lots of character (beautiful parquet floors, arched doorways, original wooden doors, etc.). Apartments are quite spacious, with modern amenities like a dishwasher, washing machine, and plenty of storage. Faye does an excellent job managing the community and keeping residents safe and comfortable. The maintenance staff are very friendly and responsive. Location is ideal: the Clarendon metro is only a 10-minute walk away, there is a bus stop in front of the community with buses to Rosslyn and DC (during rush hour), and major roads such as 66 are nearby. I loved being so close to Clarendon with its shops and restaurants while being somewhat tucked away in a quiet and green part of Arlington. The best kept secret in Clarendon!

I’ve lived here for 4 years - in two different units. Faye is an amazing manager who helped us keep an eye out for a two bedroom unit when we needed more space and helped us easily transfer units. She is incredibly efficient and easy to communicate with. Angel and Luis are the maintenance team and they are great. Amazing location, good price, and well maintained property inside and out.

I have lived in the Lyon Village community for the past 7 months and couldn't be happier. It is the perfect blend of that historic look and feel, with all of the modern amenities you could want. The apartments themselves are beautiful and spacious and since the building is from the 1940's it has that solid/sound proof feel that these new buildings can't compete with. I don't think enough emphasis is put on the fact that (almost) all utilities are included in your rent! You really only pay for internet and electricity so it makes budgeting for the month so much easier. These other places may have a lower up front rent, but then tack on water, gas, trash, parking etc. and you will certainly end up paying more. The resident manager Faye is kind and extremely responsive to resident requests. She and the maintenance staff live on grounds which means upkeep is equally important to them since it is their home too. Do yourself a favor and end your apartment search here.

We really enjoyed living at Lyon Village Apartments. The management staff were responsive, friendly, and helpful. The rent is priced very fairly (with gas and water included). Most importantly it's in a great, convenient location with a bus to downtown DC right outside the building, and the metro is an easy walk away. Added bonus: there are tennis courts and a bike path (the Custis Trail) are at your doorstep.

I've been a resident of Falls Church and Arlington, VA for the last five years. I can honestly say that the staff and the manager at Lyon Village Apartments is the absolute best! From the day we arrived, the manager ensured that our apartment was prepared and in perfect condition when we moved in. She made the application process super easy and just like that, I was home! The grounds are well kept for and the apartments are in fantastic condition. Whenever we've requested something be fixed, it has always been done by the next day and many times it's done sooner than that. The manager and the entire staff know their tenants by name and are very friendly and make you feel special every time they see you! Not only that, they'll go above and beyond to accommodate any request to the best of their ability. This is an amazing group of people! The apartments themselves are very large and all of the appliances are top notch. The heat is gas so that saves you a ton of money on electric in the winter. Plus, the apartment comes with ceiling fans and that saves you a little money in the summer. Gas and water are included in the rent and it's a huge money saver! In addition, the apartment is a short walk to the metro and Clarendon and Court House. If going on in Arlington is your thing, look no further than a quick walk to Mister Days, The GOAT, or Spider Kelleys. Additionally, there is a reason they named Arlington "America's fittest city." The Custis Trail is right around the corner which offers you ease of access to a biking and running trail that extends all the way into D.C. Plus if you're looking for a good gym workout, there's a nice cozy gym in the leasing office that you should definitely take advantage of. Lyon Village delivered on the luxury experience they promised.
