LUMINA ON 19th APARTMENTS

Gonna just list a few reasons but theres soo many to not rent here - They will find reasons to tow you. Even if you correct 1, they will look for another - Centralized AC so they control the temp. They're CHEAP and will try to save money by any means. They cut our heat off at the beginning of February.. So that 2 months of it being FROZEN cold in your own apartment and having to use the oven as heat even though you pay for it - Maintenance has the worst customer service I have ever seen and wont fix the issue. You will have to put in 3-4 requests to eventually have it at least 70% resolved - SO many different kinda bugs.. They make the roaches look minimal I can go on but trust me.. Price isnt eveything. Look elsewhere

These apartments are overpriced for the little space you get. Management treats you like you’re an idiot. Multiple people have complained that the apartments get too warm in the winter and all you get is an attitude. Expect your apartment to be between 75-80 degrees or even higher. If you like sleeping in your sweat this is the place for you. The prices are also incorrect on here the utility bill is added to your rent you won’t know how much that is till you move in. Amongst the other charges.

A horrible place to live dealing with homeless people, staff not responding when emailing or calling them and when you need to leave they'll make a big deal out of it and whe it's time to get your deposit back nope they'll keep it and charge you for cleaning w/o itemized report and say it's for cleaning I know that I left it clean as I lived alone and had help cleaning my apt

Loud music, cars and no privacy. Too many homeless people sleeping in cars and on street. All managers are rude since the start. Big red flag. Can’t wait to move out and definitely not paying $500 to move different units for something that wasn’t going as planned. Too much for a place that’s not renovated too. If you’re pregnant don’t waste your precious time on this place.

I am currently living in this roach infested complex. Its been two months without a working refrigerator and with hot air blowing from the AC. I have reached out to management but it does nothing. The place sells you on pictures, and lies. Sign your name on the dotted line and you'll be sorry. To get out you will have to pay three months of rent not including the month you are in. Its one big money game. I wish I was exaggerating.

Let Me Start by Saying that this Staff is Simply AMAZING!I Just move into my new place,and ALL I can Say Is That I'm Never MOVING!Just Want to Thank THEE WHOLE ENTIRE STAFF for Such A Easy Move...And To Virginia You ARE SIMPLY AMAZING!! LUMINA IS MY HOME FOREVER!

The apartments aren’t worth the price. In winter the studio can get up to 80degrees with no ac. 2 dog parks. One always ends up getting chained locked so you can’t use it. More so on weekends. The pools are never truly clean so they claim lock them as well. They have raised the rent over $100 every new lease. Look elsewhere.

When we moved in our apartment was incomplete. The fridge was broken, the washer didn't work, the bathroom fan didn't turn on, half the outlet in the kitchen didn't work, the AC was leaking, and more issues. We contacted them multiple times, it took them three months to correct half of it. The fridge was the only one that got done before and that was still five days we didn't have it. We asked for our rent to be reduced as we signed our lease believe our apartment would be complete. They said okay, but never actually did it. It took them over a month to fix our bathroom sink that was leaking pretty bad. When our AC went out and they open it up, the inside of the vent was covered in mold. We put in a report that our light was burnt out in our living room, we later got a message saying that maintenance was in and it was fine, meaning they didn't actually look. Recently they changed the shower heads and they screwed them on too tight and now our shower is leaking and we can't even remove the head. Don't forget the constant screaming, sirens, gunshots, and cockroaches you deal with on the daily. Would never recommend this place.

I use to live here before they got new management. Both old and new management sucks. I left shortly after new management came. Now I’m looking at the prices and it’s ridiculous. How are the fees more than the deposits for pets? Just ridiculous they always want money from people that’s all they do is take take take.

Management is horrible the upkeep of the building is very nasty it always smells like urine and smoke in the stairways this is supposed to be a gated community and every day the gates are left open there is an extreme amount of homeless people in this complex my dog has never had fleas but when he visit this apartment he got fleas horribly there is a very large infestation of roaches and bedbugs Because of management not taken care of unit responsibilities my Ceiling fell in completely they left the hole open for days. LUMINA on 19th Whoever owns this building should be very ashamed I see the same comment

I used to like this place. Not anymore. I’ve had air conditioning problems this summer that management doesn’t think they need to fix. The A/C units here are almost 50 years old and they need to be replaced. My wife and I have to sleep in the living room where our mobile A/C unit is that I had to buy. Management treats you like your an inmate in jail not one of there paying customers. I can’t wait til my lease is up.

Current resident at Lumina on 19th and since the property change EVERYTHING got worse. Its one thing when your neighbors don't make you feel safe but its a whole different story when THE MANAGER MAKES YOU FEEL UNSAFE. The whole office staff acts one way when you walk in but just don't move in. No one responds so maintenance requests even when done in office. No one care about the safety and security of what is supposed to be a GATED AND SECURED COMPLEX. The buildings themselves are ROACH INFESTED and ALWAYS needing to be sprayed. I hear people saying they have BED BUGS and seeing all the furniture by the dumpsters on a daily I'm inclined to believe them. If no starts were possible they'd have none.

I'm a current resident in Lumina on 19th/ Tides On Rail Apts. This property is filthy & staff is unprofessional. Management is inadequate, carefree & arrogant! They make sure to keep the leasing area clean but neglect the residential buildings. The stairways and aisles smell like urine and cigarettes. Not once since I moved here have they been water pressure cleaned! My mail box was wide open when I addressed this issue they were nonchalant about it & the laundry room completely disgusting. Staff & managers are aware of these issues but DO NOT CARE. I should not be forced to move because people CANNOT do their JOBS PROPERLY.

I am a current resident in Lumina on 19th Apartments and the manager along with the staff are inadequate. They do not care about this establishment or the residents. I’m in building H & there’s always trash around the stairways, the aisles never get water pressured, the vents smell like cigarettes & the laundry room is beyond filthy! Management is aware of all this but does nothing about it! Why should I be forced to move because people don’t do there job as they should.

It's excellent because it's home.I have lived here since 07/31/2016.Landscaping is always kept up.Neighbors are friendly.Pools are crystal clear blue.Apts have been renovated and are just lovely.Theres a dog park for our doggies.Covered parking now.Aots are spacious.Laundry rooms are always clean.Very polite office people very helpful.Maintenance very efficient and promo.Only one thing has really bothered me since I been here.The increases in the rent.Still affordable but a little spendy.I just love this place No joke.

Lived here for 3 years complex has sold twice each new owner does ginger bread amenities. Ignoring the major problems with utilities airconditioning and water have been down multiple times. Security fencing was added with gates the gates have not closed in months even though they raised rent when they put them in new owner has been here 4 months and they still dont close. They promised a club house would be built never happened instead they upgraded office to be club house but its only open 40 hours a week.look elsewhere where the utility's work all the time.

Never answer their phone. When l finally got maintenance to come fix multiple issues that were there when I moved in, he half assed everything and after a week they broke again. Fridge broke, told them, didn't get someone to replace it for 3 days had to throw out all my food. Finally get "new" fridge. Filled with cockroaches and leaks non stop now. They don't care about you. They don't care about their job. You're on your own.

I have never had hot water here. People got placed in a hotel in a crappy part of town, second time the chiller unit went out. I noticed a walk way on the second floor had collapsed recently repaired. We had someone living in the utility room by the pool for awhile till the police shooed them away. I feel fairly unsafe and uncertain about this area now. They said they don't include tax on the listing price, they don't include the cost of many of the issues you will have here. Just don't do it.

This is the worst appointments complex in Phoenix, there's so many bad things about this place, the Management suckk big time they never answer the phone and people in the office are super rude with bad attitude the apts are full of bed bugs, there's so many drug users all over the place, used needles all over the stairwells, dumpsters full of trash for days and making the whole place smells so bad, the pool always smells like urine, maintenance people looks skitchy & violent, urine trash vomit all over the stairwells for days etc.. this is literally the worst appointments complex I have lived in and can't wait until my lease is over.

This company has been Shady. They've been 1 by 1 kicking out older residents so they can Remodel and raise the rent. It happened to me...

Just moved in, already can't wait to leave. Roaches and office is closed when it's supposed to be open. Don't respond to emails either.

Gave me the wrong address for my lease which caused MONTHS of postal issues then just stated, "sorry it's a generic form" with no compensation for the pain and suffering. Showed me an apartment like the one on their site, then gave me the complete opposite. Remedied by moving to something that looks similar to the model. Hot water is 1st come 1st serve apparently and the a/c is cold adjacent at best, you can't really adjust it. On March 3rd anyone who hadn't paid by the 2nd received a 5 day notice on their doors that we were told meant nothing , they only sent it out early because THEY would be closed on Sunday, though nothing was posted/sent stating this would occur. I had been calling for days prior to see if someone could hang back for 3 minutes after 6 to drop rent off on time but noone answers the phones a good portion of the time I call. If the mail drop box wasn't screwed shut, paying after 6pm wouldn't be a problem.Their online payment system doesn't accept American express .And lastly , today on the 8th, matainance was supposed to come by and stop the A/C from leaking onto the kitchen floor, as I notified the leasing office about at 3pm YESTERDAY and as of 6:30 pm , my floor is still covered in water, a/c still dripping. Oh and weeks ago their laundry vendor basically stole my money and to date nothing has been done about it. As long as I continue to have issues with this place I would recommend nobody live here that just wants to be left alone and rest easy.

Its a Great place to live ,friendly and close to shopping mall,metro bus stops ,also have been there for 11 yrs with great staff.

Bella Norte tries to get to know their residents. Once and awhile they will hold events for the residents. Like breakfast and summer meals for the kids, McDonald's greet and meet. I like living there.

Not doing well maintenance as poor carpet. Poor hot water , nice to live as rent with ultilties includes so now my last lease sept 2015, I'm seeking other place like this

I have lived here almost 10 months. I love it. Staff is very attentive to your needs. Maintenance is always working hard. There is night security also. I have an upstairs apartment with balcony facing a huge green belt with trees. Apartment is nicely designed so you can have room for lots of furniture. The air and heat are included as well as water, I love not thinking of more bills. The kitchens are small with small stove but I'm not a great cook so it actually works great for my meal portions. I live here with my 2 young boys and they really like it. There are stores nearby (walking distance) ,food, gas, schools, and lots of smaller stores too. We walk to scholar and to get groceries. So far I have had great neighbors, very considerate people. There are several pools, all good and taken care of. Laundry facilities are on site. Large grass area for play. Lots of bbq grills, and I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a fresh start or to be near city. A lso along future light rail.
