Don’t move in here!!! I wish i listened to the reviews. I have nothing nice to say about my experience here. I can’t wait to leave

This building is terrible. Not only do the fire alarms go off often and for 10-20 Minutes at a time, but the communication from the staff is terrible, it’s basically non existent. The building is not clean, the washing machines are almost always out of order. There is always something. For the price, it’s not worth it. It’s expensive and there is nothing “luxury” about this building.

Being someone initially opposed to studios in my search, this place quickly changed my mind. The apartment is beautiful! And spacious! New appliances. Modern and renovated, yet charming, spaces—incredibly tasteful. Amazing amenities. Near variety of amazing food (burgers, pizza, BBQ, coffee, french, asian, and more) and nightlife (R&R, Academy, GK, King’s Court), and a seasonal farmers market! The team here is incredibly helpful, accommodating, communicative and more. Neighbors are so friendly and neighborly. Couldn’t recommend more.

It’s been nice. The community is super friendly and has made the moving experience much easier! I feel comfortable and safe. I love that it’s dog friendly as well.

The units are beautiful and the management is doing its best to keep the building clean. It's clearly a slow process (still finding dog droppings left for days in the stairwell), but they are trying.

Everything is great so far. The building looks and smells great. The manager is helpful and very caring. I am please thus far with my unit and my experience as a whole.

A lot of consistent fire alarm testing, have experienced multiple “emergency alerts” within a day. Have been locked out of elevator/lobby when these alerts occur, which I have been a part of since move in date.

I love the building neighbors are nice Mr ken is very nice and helpful the apartment is very nice You feel safe at home and it's a great feeling Thank you lucky platts for the opportunity to become part of the neighborhood

The experience so far is good. I like the fact that there is home gym. The neighbors are nice people. More people should come to the apartment

I’ve been here for two weeks and so far not many complaints everyone seems nice and welcoming. The staff has been very helpful with any questions I’ve had.

From the moment I moved in, people were greeting and being very kind. I can tell everyone who lives here (myself included) is enjoying their stay.

Nicely update and clean apartment that I have recently moved into here at 57 cannon street. Luckey Platt has some good quality amenities here on site.

The move in process was great and as easy as could be expected. The room was clean and the appliances provided are modern. The whole look of my room in particular is very modern and for the price I could say I’m happy with my choice.

Everything is perfect except the fire alarm. The leasing office was really kind and i had maintenance issue they solved it same day but yes you can hear fire alarm sometimes twice a day

Everyone who lives here is friendly. I feel like everyone helps each other out. From finding packages in the mailroom, holding doors open, helping to carry groceries in. Everyone is respectful at the gym. Walls are thin but neighbors are respectful of noise level.

Okay building/environment- great place for college students/working professionals. Good location in relation to things to do and needs. Area itself is iffy. Main Street is not the safest of places but always feel safe in the building itself. Amazing office and maintenance staff.

Expensive but beautiful. wish laundry was cheaper !!! but overall nothing more to complain about. Bad neighborhood and dangerous crime levels so I try to stay away from being outside.

I love how quiet it is. I love the fact that the laundry facility is available 24/7. What I love most is that as you step inside the building, there is an amazing aroma.

The fire alarm is going off for the fourth time in three days as I write this. Do not move into this building! I’ve lived all over the US and have never experienced the fire alarm going off as much as it does here. I don’t see how the city of Poughkeepsie tolerates this. God forbid a citizen has an actual fire and units are here on false alarms.

I have been here 6 months. When I first moved in I had roaches in my apartment. They sprayed and went away. But since march they are there Continuously. It’s absolutely disgusting. The complex does its best and they spray but they are there w no avail. I am being forced to look for other places to live as when I was cooking the other day I stepped away from the stove for 10 minutes and had to throw away my Mac n cheese and there was a roach in it. They are coming out of the dishwasher area by the sink and all by my stove

I am absolutely at the end of my rope with LP and the living experience here. The alarm has now gone off 78 time since I moved in last July. There are other suspect noises, still unexplained, on the 5th floor. The added fees to absolutely everything is INSANE. A service charge on top of monthly fees like trash collection, UNACCEPTABLE. And now you want to raise the rent by more than an acceptable amount. This place has NERVES.

The resident experience at my apartment has been great because the place looks clean and safe. I love to live in the apartment. I like the gym in the apartment. I wish the fitness center had more dumbbells, kettlebells, squat racks, and barbells.

It is unfortunate because the building has potential but isn't quite there. Maintenance staff are amazing though! It is advertised as "luxury living" but there are only a couple of apartments in the building I've seen that could be referring to (mine is not one). The gym is nice and the package room is a great addition. I seen reviews mention the fire alarms but I thought "how bad could it really be!?"...bad bad! That's how bad! The alarms go off atleast weekly on average. Nobody even goes out for them because they are always false alarms. My 2 major issues are roaches and people not cleaning up after their dogs. There is a very small patch of artificial grass with bags and everything but people don't keep it clean. I refuse to pick up after other people's dogs! Overall, it could be worse but could definitely be better!

Beautiful apartments. Just moved in, everyone was so nice and friendly. Maintenence staff had to help with the door a few times. Great view overlooking Poughkeepsie.

It has been a really good experience. Everyone seems to really care about having a community that is safe and pleasant. I enjoy the things that they have done to try and improve the building, like the gym, game room, and package room.

Pretty decent place to live. Great amenities and great staff. There have been a few mishaps with the fire alarms but they seem to have hash that out in the past few weeks. Overall, we have loved our experience here.

Biggest complaint is the fire alarms still going off for minor issues. I continue to not understand why someone smoking in their apartment has to set off the alarms for everyone in the building, and summon the fire trucks. It may be "working according to the law", but it doesn't work like that in in residential buildings, so why here?

Loving it so far. Great apartments. They are huge clean and really make me feel at home. i love the industrial look. The whole building just has a great energy

I was a resident of Luckey Platt from September 15 2021 until August 25th 2023. I only moved due to job location out of the area. I loved it here. The team put allot of attention to detail in the renovations. The building is within walking distance of local bars, schools and shopping. The closest grocery store is less than 5min away and the mall is close by too. The renowned Hudson Packard is right across the street and there are always a ton of local events. Best part is the city is only about an hr away so you're close enough to enjoy it for a day trip. The maintenance staff is awesome! They really go above and beyond to get your request resolved and try their hardest to also keep the building clean while keeping everyone comfortable.

About to go on 10 months of living here and I am pleased with my experience. The BEST part is where it's located! you will enjoy being a block away from local bars, coffee shops, theater, the DMV and court house shopping, pharmacy, restaurants etc. After a night out, you won't need an Uber or a Designated Driver because you will be 100ft from your apartment! Even the municipal parking lot is right across the street from the main entry door if you decide to opt out of resident parking! Inside of the apartments has a bright NYC loft feel, but the residents come from all walks of life creating a diverse atmosphere. Amazon, UberEats, Instacart and DoorDash drivers are MORE than familiar with Luckey Platt so you will never have issues getting your food, packages, or a ride.

I love the environment, everyone is nice and hole welcoming, The Apartment is Spacious , Gym And Game Room Is Phenomenal and The Staff Plus Maintenance Really Be On Top Of Everything

Very expensive and not many 1 bedroom options available, but residents have been lovely and its very spacious! Excited to find ways to fully furnish the new york charm in this apartment.

So far things have been ok. For some reason our fire alarm stared blaring louder than normal. Maintenance guys are great. People don't know how to clean up after their dogs.

Resident experience has been great I have no complaints at all with this complex it’s safe secured and clean very clean I must say and quiet

Living here is super frustrating - the fire alarm goes off almost daily, the laundry rooms and machines smell like sewage water and are full of pet hair, common areas don’t seem like they’re cleaned more than every 2 to 3 weeks, and maintenance always has an excuse as to why they can’t complete your request. Can’t wait to move out of here.

Very spacious and easy to live. There is a tiny difference in the floor plan from online as to the actual room, but it is still great. I like it better in real life.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Living here is nothing short of a nightmare. We’ve had mice in our apartment on numerous occasions. The fire alarm goes off almost daily. Our ceiling leaks any time there is adverse weather. Don’t be fooled by the aesthetics, it is simply not what it appears to be.

Beautiful unit and great amenities in the building. The staff is INCREDIBLE. Only issues at this point, I've been here a week and the alarms have gone off six times. While there is a no smoking policy in the building, the halls wreak of marijuana. It would be nice if the common areas were cleaned on a regular basis (halls haven't been vacuumed and floors mopped at all). While the laundry on each floor is nice, there should be dedicated pet units as the washer and dryer have been filled with pet hair.

We are having such a great time living in Luckey Platt. Neighbors and staff are great and location is topnotch! The alarms would go off more often than we'd prefer it to but if it's about keeping all of us safe, we'd take it! Great place, nice apartments, and wonderful community.

The service provided through the resident portal and direct calls during business hours are attended to rapidly. This along with the uninterrupted utilities make the resident experience wonderful!

Great value in an area where there’s always something to do! The apartment is huge and I absolutely love the tall ceilings. Rooftop sitting area is not ready yet, that will be a huge improvement if management is able to get it set up. On-floor laundry is great. The main thing to improve is that they need to figure out the fire alarm issue. Fire alarms have gone off probably 5 times in the last month. Always a quick fix but not convenient for remote workers.

Laundry machines are in a communal room for everyone to share and use rather than in each unit. This has impacted me in bad experience here due to the fact of machines malfunctioning as well as having to clean the inside of both washers and dryers from tenants that own pets which contributes to more filth than usual.

Super experience so far. I love the apartment and all the ammenities. Kitchen and bathroom are beautiful. Loft is aweseome and the gym, yoga studio, and game room are great additions to my living experience.

Living here is great. Improvements are made seemingly every day. And not just to the building but to community as well! Very excited for my future here at Luckey Platt!

The place definitely improved since we moved in. It is expensive. With what seems like unending add ons expenses on top of the rent. After over a year of living here we’re still trying to get rid of mice in our apartment. Maintenance team is awesome though.

The biggest noise issue is the fire alarms going off so often. This is a true safety hazard since it happens so often that no one leaves the apartment anymore when they go off. The amenities listed on the website and Apartments.com are misleading or completely false. The package room has improved but is often a mess. As far as community events go, they are few and far between and they often happen at times when people can't actually attend. The communal spaces are limited. We like the layout of our space and the maintenance staff is great but there is a rodent problem in the building that has now spread to our apartment. The elevators don't always work properly and the stairwells are very dirty. Luckey Platt benefits from being one of just a few somewhat affordable options in the area. While I'm not in a place to leave, I wouldn't recommend Luckey Platt to anyone moving to the area unless they had exhausted all other options.

The fire alarm goes off a lot and During my first month here, it went off 19 times, 2nd month 17 times. Those times I counted, I was present, not sure how many times it went off when I’m not home. The alarms are super loud and it has cause me ringing in my ears a few times. Elevator takes awhile, hallways smells bad and you can smell the weed around.

The apartment is great other than the fact that the wood is different and old upstairs as if it was forgotten in renovation. Rooftop and suana still aren’t available and the game room never shows up on the latch app. Gym is great, love the Zumba class options. Always seems like there is something wrong with our rent bill, however. They don’t allow dog visitors when family comes without notice, but hasn’t been an issue recently, but it was in the beginning. Overall is was okay, management could be better, we were charged too much on our last payment that was supposed to be prorated for 10 days, but we were charged the full amount. No email or respond but they opened the email. Also, they never answer the phone when anyone calls. Had a friend that wanted to tour, but nobody answered so they missed out on business. I would live here again, there was just minor things that change our experience

The apartment has been great, but I'm still getting used to using the app to open the doors, elevators, mail room, etc. The surrounding area is a little 'eh' at times. There are some neat places to eat but also a lot of abandoned builings.
