Lofts at North Hills

Great location away from noise of traffic and lots of wonderful trees around the property. Love the pool and activities planned by the staff including a recent succulent planting gathering and breakfast on-the-go event.

THis has been great, the grounds are kept clean and the amenities always work. The staff is very nice and they remember all the small details

My girlfriend and I really enjoy our new apartment! The community is peaceful and we are so close to everything we need. Such a great deal for all the amenities.

I’ve been loving it here so far. The community is quiet and calm, there’s a lot of greenery for my dog and I’m super close to everything around, like the movies and a lot of restaurants.

Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space. Have not had any problems in my time living here. Noticed a lot of mosquitoes around but that’s North Carolina.

The Maintenance is promptly coming beginning of the week to fix the ac. The layout and amazing and the community is clean and maintained. The staff is very inviting.

Lovely location away from traffic sound, lots of trees and walking paths for people and pets. Great office and maintenance staff. I like the layout of buildings and only sound/noise from neighbors via shared walls is a main reason I chose the nice townhome approach to living.

Everyone in the neighborhood is sooo friendly and Sabrina was the absolute best! The minute i came in she greeted me with so much kindness, it helped ease my worries with getting the apartment.

I really like the property. The amenities seem nice although I haven't gotten a chance to use the gym and the pool is closed for the season. The apartments are old so they have the "landlord special feel" in some areas. Overall, I am happy to live here.

I love living at the Lofts. Very easily a nice and quiet family community. I plan to stay here for a while. The apartments are all beautiful and the community is so welcoming. I love that the office keeps everyone connected with their fun gatherings.

The staff and amenities are great! The staff does a great job with hosting fun events for our community! It makes it great for getting to know your neighbors!

One of the easiest processes from application to move in. The staff was very helpful and exceeded in making sure I had everything I needed. Unit was clean before arrival. Any post move in questions I had were taken care of.

Only a few days in and I have to say it has been quite pleasant. I like how quiet it is and clean everything is. The crew that manages everything are so nice and polite and even make sure I have coffee to get my day started.

Quiet, peaceful, surrounded by trees and the neighbors we have met so far are kind and helpful! The pool is especially refreshing in this heat and we can't wait to try the fitness center which is just a few steps away. We just moved in and are loving it so far!

I am very glad I made the right decision by moving here. I am actually on my second year and I am happy to report that Sabrina and Mel were very helpful with and any issues I may have had.

I love it here very peaceful, great location for shopping, working, and going to school. Valet trash service and Many more you should definitely check them out.

Sabrina has been super helpful and attentive during our move-in process. The place looks great on the inside and outside and any minor things that need to be fixed are taken care of with a sense of urgency. it is a quiet space with a lot of privacy, which we love. This place has good bones and a lot of character.

good apartment, love the kitchen. really bad insulation though, sliding doors don't fully close. also, dog poop everywhere, no one seems to care but it's disgusting and ridiculous. if there was 1 reason we'd move out, it's all the dog crap.

Living here since 2011. Adore Lofts at North Hills! Staff is amazing, apartment layouts are spacious and up to date. Neighborhood is safe and quiet!

Slightly older apartments but lots of space and still pretty nice. Community is quiet and pretty relaxed. The staff is friendly and helpful! Very happy to live here.

Living here (outside of my Car being broken into) is really great. I would definitely recommend to a friend or to a family member. Lovely community.

I have never loved living somewhere more. The neighborhood is lovely, it’s clean and unique. The ladies at the office are considerate and helpful. I love the Lofts!

It's a quiet, greatly located place to live with lots of space. There is generally enough parking for residents and guests. Maintenance is very responsive to work orders.

Great amenities and good location, close to the city and other areas you would want to be near. The area is very quiet and nice to walk around. The other tenants are very nice as well.

I love the community and environment, but the work orders have been a little inconsistent and have marked problems as fixed without fixing them.

Office is always nice and helpful when we need it. Pool is great and well maintained, same with the gym. The dog park could use some extra love tho!

Lofts at North Hills is a quiet, quaint, and newly-renovated community that is the perfect place to call home. With the pool, community events, and walkable neighborhood, there is always something to do. Having recently moved here from New Jersey, my husband and I were concerned about struggling to meet new friends; however, the friendliness of the neighbors very pleasantly surprised us! Maintenance is attentive and performs all repairs immediately and professionally. We could not be happier with our home choice!

They are older apartments. It is very apparent upon closer inspection. The closets offer very little storage. There were renovations made but all they did was change the hardware and painted over existing paint. With decades of paint on top of paint, you get doors that stick. The cabinets are old and painted over. You can see the holes from prior handles. There is no overhead lighting or fans in the bedrooms. So you need to do most of your unpacking during the day.

I am absolutely loving the community so far and looking forward to getting settled in and enjoyong all the amentities. Everythng you need in the well maintained property and walkable distance to nearby shopping and restuarants. The rooms are spacious and the open multi-floorplan provides ample space and storage. I especially like the loft area that fuctions as an office and the deck and patio that provides a wonderful view of the well kept wooded and landscaped grounds.

I have just moved into my new apartment at the Lofts at North Hills, but so far, it has been a positive experience. Everyone in the office has been super helpful. I’m looking forward to settling in and enjoying my new home.

Would be nice if there were more than one parking spot per apartment. Nice swimming pool and seems like a pretty safe area. Close to everything in Raleigh.

The complex manager and maintenance have been super helpful during our move in. Our apartment was clean and there were no issues getting us in on our first day. The only thing I would say is the AC units are very loud

We had a great experience all around and felt very welcomed into our new community. Management is friendly and seems great. We are happy with our new home.

I have lived at the Lofts for a year and a half. I have enjoyed living here. It is convenient and the property manager Amy is very responsive and cares about the community. I recommend living here.

Been living here since 2011! Love it! ?? The management and maintenance staff are top notch! Very understanding and knowledgeable! Handle any issues effectively and promptly!

All I have to say is cockroaches: on the sidewalks, in the parking lot, and of course in your home. We’ve contacted the office and they just kind of shrug it off. The exterminator comes out once/week but the stuff they use does nothing. So much stress, money, and time wasted.

Have made so many service calls since moving in here for the same thins over and over. There’s no communication about when they will come out, so we usually get a call saying they couldn’t come in because we left the dog out and then it’s another few days before they can try again. The sink has leaked from both sides and they’ve been out to fix it countless times. Now the bathroom sink is leaking as well. Took three times out here to get the toilet to stop running, and it still runs if we don’t move the handle just right. The dishwasher falls out wen we open it and we don’t even want to bother with calling because it’s such a hassle to get someone out. We were told before signing our lease that we could pay our rent online, but our account has been messed up for six months and they refuse to figure it out. We were also assigned one parking spot for our two cars and told to park the other in visitor spots. We were told there was absolutely no parking on the curb, even to unload groceries. Every single day, there are people parked on the curb. Sometimes blocking the stairs to get to our apartment. More than ten times we have come home to find someone parked in our assigned parking spot, and when we call management they tell us “maybe put a note on their windshield.” It has been an unforgettable experience and we will not be renewing our lease. Not that they would care about that anyway.

Do not sign a lease here. Our apartment has been an absolute pain since we moved in last summer. Two sewage back ups in our bathroom has resulted in disgusting sewage water filling the tub, once flooding out into our bathroom. We have had unending maintence requests from broken fan in the bathroom to spewing water from the kitchen sink. Big rains caused flooding in our “front yard.” Walking to our car for work means muddy and ruined shoes every time it rains. Rotting wood on the front deck, rusted hardware and destroyed baseboard in the apartment has been painted over with layers and layers of white paint (see photos) in order to avoid replacing it. This place has been a nightmare. Cars park in our parking spot often because the markers have worn away so much. My car was towed after we first moved in because I made the honest mistake of parking in someone’s spot simply because I could not tell it was marked, $200 thrown away to get my car back. We have had simple requests completely ignored, some still from August (see oxidized window photo you can’t even see out of?). Poor insulation has caused our electricity bill to double during the winter months even though we keep our thermostat at 68, even so the downstairs feels like 50. I have never experieced this in the 2 apartment complexes I have lived at previously. Definitely avoid living here, the model is very nice, but it is not what you get. For the money, there are much much better places to live.

This place is complete garbage. While the price and nice clubhouse may tempt you, just spend a little more money and get something livable. Sewage backups, poor parking, disgusting dog park, 10 coats of white paint on every wall to hide the grime, dishwasher doesn't work well, the list just goes on and on. When we first toured the showing model, it was super nice. After we signed and they showed us our model, we knew things were going to be bad. The place had CLEARLY BEEN SMOKED IN habitually and the ceilings were yellow. It was a clear bait and switch situation. They gave us a ozone filter and said "it should get all of the smell out". Too bad we already signed the lease. Throughout our couple months living here, it has been a constant struggle of events and it just isn't worth the time for you and your family. We will not be renewing the lease and will happily spend more money to get something that you can comfortably live in. PLEASE TURN AWAY NOW AND DON'T LIVE HERE!

Under new management. They do not respect renter's rights. They are entering apartments more than once a month without proper notice. They require that all pets are crated or removed from the apartment during each entry. They required that we move all of our furniture in one of these visits. Electricians have been in more than once (is it not a better renter experience to schedule all of the electrical work at one time?) Other than the numerous unwanted entries into my home, the insulation is terrible. My electric bill is the highest I've ever seen and it is not a large place. Add this to your rent figure and the rent is no long considered 'affordable'. When I set my heat at 60 the heat stays on constantly through the night. The summers are sweltering. Depending on which building you dwell, expect people to sit on the steps and cat call when you get out of your car. Run far away from this place. I just wanted a nice, quiet, affordable place. This place fails on all accounts.
