The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Lockwood
On January 22, I came across a cute and affordable apartment at this place and quickly submitted an application which, through their process, also required I submit a deposit. I then spoke to a local police officer, who informed me that a ground floor apartment in that area as a young female would not be advisable. Before I was even approved, I withdrew my application and asked for my money back. I have since been calling them at least once a week (getting them on the phone at least once a week; half the time nobody answers) and getting the run around - that they're waiting for the manager to be in, waiting for approval, waiting for the check to come, etc. On Feb 11, I received a system email that the refund check was approved. I called them again, and was told that they're just waiting for the check to come in the mail and then will call me to come get it. It is now March 13, and it has been over a month. There has been no sign of a check. I'm still waiting for my money back and will continue to hound them until I receive it, but new applicants beware that business at The Lockwood seems shady.

Don’t let the “low” prices fool you, you get what you pay for. The leasing office staff never fail to prove how useless they can be. I stopped by to inform them about the horrible living conditions in my apartment and they gave me the run around until I emailed them implying to sue. Not only did our apartment have rodents and roaches but we had mold. The mold spread on all areas of our apartments from the closet to the main doorway to the bathroom ceiling and when some was finally sent over paint was simply applied on the surface and the leasing office is yet to contact me about my concerns. Aside from poor management, and incompetent maintenance staff the community over all is poorly kept, largely do to the residents, but there is also an absurd amount of stray cats that roam freely because of the abandoned storage place adjacent to the property. Honestly what urged me to write this review is the utter disregard for residents welfare, I’m in the process of getting the mold checked by a professional before I proceed to handle this situation. One would would think the change in management would bring change but it’s the same issues with the same people. Do not live here. It’s not worth your sanity.

As a ling time resident of the White Oak Community my experience with White Oak Park was one like any other. Aside from there rodent problems the overall management of the property is atrocious. The maintenance of the units are a palling. After I reported a leak the leasing center sent over the maintenance man to fix it and all he did was replace the dry wall and put a fresh Cote of paint causing him to return 2 additional times. In another instance involving yet another leak caused maintenance to remove my cabinets and when they were put back they were improperly hung causing roaches to appear not to mention the numerous cats wondering around from the abandoned storage unit adjacent to the property. If not for the low price of the community I would leave in a heart beat. I would not recommend this community to anyone.
