This small town values an active outdoor lifestyle as there is an abundance of parks. Williston boasts 279 acres of conservation areas, 256 acres of parkland, and 12 miles of trails. Find family and friends at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center for running, mountain biking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and fat biking. This park also offers classes and summer camps in the winter and summer months. The town is quiet for most of the year, but does offer a few extremely unique events. Taste a New England favorite at the annual Williston Chowder Challenge, which also offers a variety of activities for kids.

Williston is extremely accessible and a great location for commuters. Interstate 89 runs through the town while the Burlington International Airport is a short drive away. The suburb is only 36 minutes from Montpelier. Williston is only 15 minutes from Burlington, the biggest city in Vermont, giving quick access to the University of Vermont and other main attractions.
