The country’s oldest occupied military post
West Point is known for being the oldest continuously occupied military post in the country. Nestled along the Hudson River in the suburbs of New York, West Point stood as an important position in the American Revolution, and is still a vital military base today. West Point is home to the United States Military Academy, West Point Academy, Eisenhower Hall Theatre, and several forts, monuments, and historic sites. Although there aren’t many rentals in West Point, there are several military family apartments for rent with an array of rental options in nearby Highland Hills.
