The Wash Park neighborhood is a lovely place to live in. It is a very green neighborhood and is great for families. The park is a great places to for more athletic people to train or for families to have picnics or gatherings. The public high school in the area - South High School - is a great choice to send your kids as it has a diverse and inclusive community. Gaylord St. and University Blvd. have an array of shops and restaurants that are locally run and good quality. Overall, Wash Park is an ideal neighborhood for people to raise their families.

Washington Park is a wonderful neighborhood of old brick houses with an East Coast vibe. My roommates and I are all in our early-20s and we love the proximity to fun bars and restaurants on South Broadway. The park itself also adds an active element to the neighborhood. Great for weekday volleyball and evening runs.
