Temple Place Historic District is a national historic district at just a few blocks from the center of Boston. The district encompasses a number of well-preserved 19th and early-20th century buildings that provide a look back in time and a well-preserved representation of Boston’s early days. The earliest buildings date from the 1830s and are Greek Revival in style, but today they house incredible local businesses. There aren’t many apartments for rent in the heart of the Temple Place Historic District since many of the preservation requirements are extremely strict, but there are incredible rentals just a block over in equally-impressive Boston landmarks.
