The home of one of America’s most famed novels offers an excellent location

River Historic Great Location Wooded Close-Knit

Located an hour north of Albany, South Glen Falls is a small village along the Hudson River. This small town is known for being home to Cooper’s Cave, a beautiful natural feature referenced in the famed American novel, “The Last of the Mohicans.” Cooper’s Cave isn’t the only prominent landmark in the village. South Glens Galls is a part of the “Gateway to the Adirondacks” region which played a significant role during the Revolutionary War and includes several popular attractions. South Glens Falls is located between Lake George and Saratoga Springs allowing for more entertainment options outside of the village. Six Flags, Parasailing Adventures Lake George, and Shepard's Park Beach are all less than an hour away from this quiet town.

Although residents enjoy venturing to nearby villages, South Glens Falls has plenty to offer and provides the perfect small-town atmosphere. Locals take full advantage of the village’s natural beauty, and you can find residents cycling on the Regional Bike Trail along the Hudson River or having a family day at Sandbar Beach and nearby Haviland Cove Beach. After a long day out in the sun, eat at one of the local restaurants like Mr. Bill's Carhop along Main Street and Saratoga Avenue, or enjoy a cold one at the local brewery. South Glens Falls is for renters looking for a secluded locale that’s still close to great amenities.
