I live in this area for about 3 years and I love this Neiborhood and job opportunity. it's far from my university but it's good because cost of living is much less than the other places.

I have lived in Smyrna my whole life and have no severe complaints other than it can be boring here sometimes. Nashville and Murfreesboro have more to do, and they are a short drive away. Smyrna is a good place to live if you want to be able to experience Nashville regularly without actually having to live there.

Smyrna doesn't seem do proper planning. I live on a residential street where they continue to allow commercial properties and refuse to do anything meaningful about the people who speed on our street. Seems if you want to build anything anywhere in Smyrna they will say yes regardless if it makes sense or impacts current residents. I truly regret moving here and will be attempting to move within the next 3-5 years.

Smyrna is a very calm and quiet town to grow up in. It is just south of Nashville. It has many restaurants, places to have fun, and attractions for families.
