Love Phinney Ridge. Very safe neighborhood with welcoming people. It is always amazing to see a welcoming face walking down the street. There is always someone to help you out when you need it.

I like how green the area is, the nearby Woodland Park Zoo/ Woodland Park, family friendliness, and safety. It would be better if there was more diversity and the houses were not as expensive. Mostly nice old craftsman houses but some are ugly and modern. Very hilly and not super easy to walk places.

For a medium size city, the crime rate is not too bad. Mostly home robberies but violent crime is down.

The housing option in Seattle in terms of affordability are very slim. Housing rents have jumped and homes sales are competitive in the right neighborhoods and expensive with property taxes climbing. Seattle is no longer affordable for the middle class / working class as the housing cost take at least 1/3 - 1/2 of a single persons income at least for a desirable location. Two live cheaper than one but it still takes a chunk of your income.
