As one of the largest educational institutions in Virginia, Old Dominion radiates academic and cultural innovation. The campus has grown considerably since the turn of the 21st century, with the addition of the Ted Constant Convocation Center, half a dozen new residence halls, a state of the art recreation center, and a major overhaul of the university’s sports facilities.
