A wide selection of shops and restaurants are available along University Boulevard, along with North Charleston Wannamaker County Park. This large park is home to a disc golf course, picnic areas, walking trails, a playground, and Whirlin' Waters Adventure Waterpark, an amusement park that features a wave pool, water slides, and more.
