Established in 1818, Saint Louis University is one of the oldest and most prestigious Catholic universities in the nation. SLU encourages students to become well-rounded people who contribute to the greater good, often integrating course work with community service. Offering almost 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, SLU focuses on educating the whole person—mind, body, heart, and spirit.

Located less than three miles west of Downtown Saint Louis, SLU is in close proximity to a wide variety of apartments and lofts available for rent. Neighborhoods especially convenient to SLU’s North Campus include Central West End, Lafayette Square, and Soulard. Campus is also accessible from Interstates 44 and 64, for those with longer commutes.
