The University of Idaho is situated near the Idaho/Washington border in an agriculture-rich area known as the Palouse region. As one of the country's land-grant institutions, the university's College of Natural Resources -- along with its College of Engineering, College of Law, and College of Education -- is considered one of the nation's best.
