Overall, a great neighborhood to grow up in. Very diverse, unlike a lot of other neighborhoods in Long Island. Never had any disturbances growing up, always peaceful. Lots of variety for stores, malls, and restaurants. Houses are pretty big with nice yards for children and pools. Beaches are close by, about 20 minutes away. To wrap up, North Amityville is a great neighborhood.

I have lived here my whole life. That is 22 years in North Amityville. I have always felt safe, and protected in this neighborhood. This is something that I have never felt anywhere else I have traveled. I thank my parents for raising me in such an affluent community with many successful businesses and opportunities around me.
