The public schools in Newington are great and the town is calm and safe overall. Many job offering in Newington are located along the Berlin Turnpike, which goes through Newington.

Newington is a very quiet town. There are many restaurants in town, both fast food and specific cultural cuisine. There are also many places to go shopping and spend your time.

Newington has been a good place to grow up and live. A lot of people end up remaining here and having their own families there because of how comfortable it is. It is just a little bit boring at times.

Newington has a great community, with proximity to many other great towns and Hartford. With proximity to Central Connecticut State University there are many younger people here. We have a skate park, many walking trails, strong public transportation, schools, and clean and safe streets.
