I love how close everything is to where I live. I moved here when I was 9 years old so I was able to attend all 3 public education systems nearby and soon to be a 4th whether it be at California State University-Long Beach or Long Beach City Community College. There are retail stores, grocery stores, a bank, gas station, and two pharmacies within a 4 minute drive which is honestly really great.

I moved to Lakewood a little over 3 years ago. My family and I fell in love with the neighborhood right when we parked our car. Its very inviting and It gives us all a warm feeling. All of my neighbors are easy to talk to and very understanding if we ever were to have a get together at home. We have a community watch group and always look out for each other. There isn't any thing that I would want to change about my neighborhood. After all, you cant fix anything that isn't broke, so why try to?

It's ok. Lakewood Village is for people who want to live like they're in Lakewood, but still want to enjoy the safety and community of Long Beach.
