More amenities include the quaint green spaces that dot the city as well as chain restaurants, grocers, service shops, and other businesses along the border of town. Residents can travel outside of the neighborhood to journey to some of Utah’s best attractions like the trails leading to Farnsworth Peak and Nelson Peak as well as the Great Salt Lake, situated just northwest of the neighborhood. Most of Kearns is made up of neighborhoods with single-family houses, but renters will find apartments situated near the northern border of town available for rent as well.

It's not a bad neighborhood most people are friendly you have everything close and it's not hard to commute to places. Overall I would say it's not a bad community.

I love the environment. I love that it's near a park and my school. I love being close to Walmart whenever I need something quick, I can just go on a walk and get there fast. If I could change something, it would be the power. Every once in a while the power goes out and the city hasn't done anything to fix. It has been years since the power box broke.

Kearns is alright. I don't have much experience with the in-depth aspects of the suburbs, but it's alright. Do you want to live here? Depends on your situation and what you value.

I grew up in Kearns and have lived in West Valley and currently live in Kearns again. Although it has its issues, I loved growing up here. I made lifelong friends and had diverse friend groups. I took advantage of honors, CE, and AP classes at Kearns High and felt I got a wonderful education. I am now an educator myself.
