Kearns is a suburban community about 13 miles from the heart of Salt Lake City. This residential area is centered by Oquirrh Park, the home of the Utah Olympic Oval and Kearns Recreation Center. It's not a bad neighborhood most people are friendly you have everything close and it's not hard to commute to places. Overall I would say it's not a bad community.

Kearns is oftened referred to as the ghetto, I don't agree with this. Kearns is a bit trashy but everyone looks out for everyone else. We have a lot of family-owned businesses in Kearns that are all amazing. Personally I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Kearns is a nice little town. They have lots of schools spirit in the community for Kearns high. Theres a lot of up and coming businesses so lots of job opportunities opening up. The community is very tight and welcoming and are willing to help anybody in the community.

I love the environment. I love that it's near a park and my school. I love being close to Walmart whenever I need something quick, I can just go on a walk and get there fast. If I could change something, it would be the power. Every once in a while the power goes out and the city hasn't done anything to fix. It has been years since the power box broke.
