It's a pretty quiet area, but everyone can be very well known among each other. There's great atmosphere as well as a really big public park that anyone can enjoy. Lots of stores are close by to homes which makes them accessible to everyone. Neighbors are friendly and super helpful.

Hartsdale is very calm, quiet, and safe place. You can even walk after midnight or early morning without any fear.

Hartsdale is a very nice area to live in. I feel extremely safe walking the streets if Hartsdale and there are food and shops within walking distance. The only thing that is a negative is the lack of diversity. Also, being that Hartsdale is a very small town the food options are very limited and you tend to get tired of eating the same things over and over again. Also, it can be a bit pricey because you are going to pay for the area you're living in. Other than that, Hartsdale is great. I feel very comfortable coming home from work late at night and walking home from the train, which is also SUPER close.
