Located about 70 miles southwest of the Windy City, Coal City is a quiet, close-knit village. Like its name implies, Coal City was once a hub for mining. Today, the area preserves its old fashioned charm with quaint, affordable apartments and houses available for rent. The town’s biggest lure is its united community.
