Clermont, IN Area Guide

Small-town feel in this Indianapolis suburb

Quiet Small Business Suburban Commuter

Clermont is located 11 miles west of Downtown Indianapolis along U.S. Highway 136. The area sits just south of the Eagle Creek Reservoir, granting a more rural feel and incredible convenience to the water and all the activities that come with it. This is a fantastic place to own a home in the Indianapolis area, but there are also modern apartment complexes and sprawling single-family home rentals to be had as well. Locals gather along Crawfordsville Road at Raceway Pub or one of the community parks in the area. Clermont’s compact size means there isn’t much in the way of retail centers or an array of restaurants, but the highway makes it easy to head into one of the surrounding communities like Speedway, or even into the city of Indianapolis itself.
