Terrible management. Be prepared to have the maintenance crew enter at random times and not respond to appointments booked through the resident portal app. Be prepared to have your spouse/significant other's car towed if they don't stay in the apartment with you.

Choosing to live in The Jefferson at Fair Oaks has been my greatest decision. The complex is always clean, the grass is always green, they have landscapers who maintain the property and they’re always on point and well mannered. The property manager and her assistant are super helpful and nice. Maintenance is always available and come immediately. Compared to other apartment complexes, the buildings and apartments are easy to find. I’ve been here a year and will definitely be renewing my lease. It may seem a little pricey but it’s worth every penny. You can’t find this nowhere else. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me.
I visited in September of 2023 and had a great experience with my tour. While I didn't end up moving here, the leasing office was very helpful and friendly. The apartments themselves are quiet and cozy, very pretty interiors. The community was quiet, despite the location, and I spoke to numerous tenants to get their gripes about the complex. I only heard great reviews from people who had moved in recently or had been there for the last 5 years, no complaints anyone shared with me. My impression is that the community is smaller and social, the parking is nice, and the apartments are well made. Would love to live here if work brings me back to Fairfax in the future, I'll keep an eye out.

Maintenance and property staff are always happy and go above and beyond to get the job done. A huge Thank you! I have zero complaints. I enjoy all the amenities at Jefferson Oaks. I want to give a big "WOW" to Nok. She has made my move-in really smooth and answered all my community questions. Nok's went above and beyond in a short period of time for us to move in. I’ve been living here for just over a year now and love it. I love it so much so that even when my original lease ended and my partner and I split; i insisted on staying in the neighborhood and moved into a different apartment. The location is super convenient, my apartment is spacious(especially nice having my own garage), and the leasing manager(Hannah) and staff are always super responsive to any of my needs. I hope to stay in this neighborhood for a long time.
