Alden Park Luxury Apartments

Although updated the property still has the old charm of the beautiful structure that has been there for years. The leasing agents are very professional and pleasant. I missed out on the apartment that I wanted because their units go fast. I'll move faster next time.

Great place so far move in went well. I wish the freight elevator and entrance to the building were shown sooner as our furniture had to disassembled to fit in.

We just moved in on April 25th and it has been an amazing experience so far. The other neighbors are all incredibly nice and welcoming so far! Plus Keith the security guard helped us move our couch inside when we were moving totally unsolicited! He really deserves a raise or a bonus!

Beautiful place and wouldn’t mind staying there for another year love to work on my self and this place gives me peace and comfort I love it

Harisa was very helpful during the leasing and application process. The apartment is beautiful and has a great view. I am excited to stay at Alden Park.

We just got the keys this Wednesday so haven't gotten to experience resident life just yet. Our room is very dusty though and not clean, so we reached out to maintenance.

one of my only complaints is that we’ve had a broken sink in our apartment for months now and submitted multiple maintenance requests to fix it. they always say they can’t do anything and they’ll send a plumber to us but they never do.

The apartment is really nice and I was able to move in 2 days early but the gym has very little equipment. The stuff they do have is very old, rusty, and even broken. The sauna also looks like it has not been running in a while.

Grounds are beautiful and our apartment is gorgeous. I love the amenities, but I do wish they could be contacted more easily. It’s a bit of a struggle.

There was a mix of things both good and bad. GOOD: The area and complex are nice. The amenities work and hopping into the hot tub after work or the heated pool is amazing. We love our apartment. Morime from the leasing office has been very kind. Most of our neighbors are wonderful and most everyone has been friendly without it feeling fake. People thankfully keep their pets leashed. BAD: Long and difficult application process with lots of fees. However we did get in but even after moving in there still seems to be issues with paperwork and that they forgot this paper or this other one has wrong info. First day we moved in we left our dog in the apartment so we could start moving stuff and he obviously after a long drive from from the south. Someone slipped a note under the door telling us to "keep him quiet or they would go to the leasing office." He hasn't made a peep since because now he is calm, it was a stressful moving day and dogs bark no one else has even made a comment.

My move-in experience was great. Harissa was a great help and help me navigate my out of state move. The property is beautiful and I can’t wait to enjoy it!

Staff is helpful , and welcoming lobby smells amazing parking lot security needs to be more secured and 2nd floor Elwood needs to be fixed but over all I love it I’m happy here

Alden Park is a great place to live. It is close to the city and also close to Chestnut Hill and the Wissahickon. There are many restaurants nearby too. It is only about a half hour from the Morris Arboretum and Gardens of the University of Penn.

Great location and amenities. We love the charm of an old building with modern touches. Moremi made the rental experience seamless and very easy.

My experience so far has been great! Everything is really clean and easily accessible. The view is so nice from my apartment and the amenities are great, would like a more updated gym maybe a squat machine.

The location and convenience of the complex is a prime draw. The buildings are gorgeous from the outside, and have nice features inside. Things I previously had issues with have been a little better here of late. The elevators haven't been breaking down. Security is actually visible and can be seen making rounds. I've started receiving email updates about maintenance tickets. The dumping grounds that were littered for a long time have been cleaned up. So it seems like management is listening to residents and trying to improve things.

I like it here and so do my cats! they have plenty of room to run around and play fetch. I also enjoy the view and many windows as well as the amenities.

As a whole my resident experience needs a lot of work. My apartment is great. But there are many things that need to be brought up in standard. The parking lot corridors looks dystopian. We didn’t know that we would have to use that entrance everyday. The community feel is not present! People will speak and greet each other but there isn’t any warmth and energy on the property. I didn’t realize that from the tour we took before moving in. The gym amenities are so out dates. The sauna is OUT OF SERVICE. The entry gate is always broken. You have guards that sit in their heated vehicles ALSEEP at the main gate when the gates are broken. I don’t understand how anyone can offer this as customer service. Parking lot system isn’t a system. Another resident parked in our spot more than once. My leasing agentAMAZING. It was a good experience. We grew through the process together. But otherwisewhere is the community engagement person. Where is the engagement

no heat and oven doesn't work. just moved in. and we're in the middle of a snow storm. so far the is not a good experience for me. I am trying to be patient.

Smooth and easy transition, lovely staff and great neighbors so far ?? can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings !! The amenities are wonderful and everything is well kept so far !

I just in Alden Park January 2025 and I really like it so far. It was very clean. No problem with rodents or bugs. Hot water works and the heat works well too. It's a lot of forms and paperwork to fill out online. My leasing agent Moremi Williams really helped out a lot. She stayed in contact during the application process. She was great from the tour to move in day! It might seem like a lot but she will walk you through everything. I recommend her and Alden Park for any future movers!

Spacious 1 bed room apartment, nice amenities, helpful staff. I am enjoying my stay at Alden Park. I would recommend livinf here to my friends

Alden Park is a great place to live. The only issue that I have is parking, but it is a safe and beautiful property with a heated pool. Maintenance is very good and comes to repair things quickly. The rent is affordable too.

There have been ups and downs as with moving in general but overall, everyone has been very nice and accommodating. Anything that we have needed has been promptly taking care of and I truly appreciate that. I think we are going to like it here.

I am a disabled veteran and my experience at Alden Park has been WONDERFUL! Everyone including security, maintenance, leasing, and neighbors were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Alden Park has been the perfect location for my Rest and Relaxation. Thank you.

Usefully fulfilling. The structure holds up to its designated function. The staff seems very work oriented. The fur babies are also welcomed.

Terrible management & maintenance. Parking is a joke, anytime a disabled sign is knocked over it doesn't get replaced. Package room is a joke. Quality of fixtures and appliances is very poor too.

Been living here for a month now so I figured it's time to write a review. Overall I love this complex. The amenities are good, the buildings are beautiful and the grounds are nice too. Most residents are very nice and take care of the community. There are occasional issues with mechanical things (elevators, water, power outages, etc) because these are really old buildings but the maintenance team seems to respond quickly and get things fixed. I'm a dog owner and I love the dog park and the fact that there are free poop bags and trash cans all over the grounds. Despite that convenience, some residents aren't as diligent about cleaning up after their pet unfortunately. But I guess in a community of over 900 apartments you're bound to have a few inconsiderate people. It's generally very quiet in the buildings and around the grounds. Rarely do I hear any noises from neighbors because the walls seem very thick. For the price, you probably can't find a better place to live!

Great apartment. It has really nice views with a lot of natural sunlight. The appliances are all up to date and work perfectly, and I couldn't be happier about my move.

I've really been enjoying living here now that I've been around a bit longer. my cat loves having more space to run around and I enjoy the amenities

Privacy concern because people can come in your apartment anytime and don't even send you notifications. The units are not cleaned properly before new tenants move in. The water is charged according to the amount of people in your unit and square footage of your apartment.

I feel secure living in this serene setting. You don't feel like you're living in the city; in this well maintained complex. Love all the amenities.

is the property nice, yes! Is this luxury living like they advertise, not at all! I also wish management was better. And all apartments are not made equal!

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful area. This place of character is nestled in the heart of a natural environment. My experience leading up the move in last weekend, and the first week thus far have proven to be quite positive in all regard. Thank you to the incredible Alden Park team!

I’ve been living here for a month and so far, it’s been a great experience. The historic building is beautiful, and the community is well-maintained with lovely grounds for walking, plus a gym and swimming pool. I also had a maintenance request, and it was resolved the very next day! Overall, I’m really enjoying everything.

We've been living here a year now (9/2024) and we love our apartment and the location. Alden Park is like a college campus with green space and various buildings including the apartment buildings, but there's also an indoor gym and incredible heated, tiled, pool. Our apartment is large, with high ceilings, and bright because every room has a wall of windows. For a view - look out to trees. There's a crazy amount of storage for an apartment - we have a 5 walk in closets! Finally, we have a working fireplace. Another reason we love AP is the neighborhood. East Falls is said to be the "best kept secret in Philly." We're close to the Schuylkill River, beautiful parks, SEPTA, museums, downtown, and major highways. To be fair the complex is about 100 yrs old. This is part of the charm but also there are imperfections. It can take time to get facility repairs completed. I’d like to give a special shout-out to our maintenance staff. They are responsive, professional, and respectful.

I love my new place. Everything works well and it is a very cozy spot. Everyone in my building has been very welcoming and the grounds are well maintained

I have not had time to thoroughly experience the community but so far I am lacking what I see. It is extremely peaceful here. And with amenities like these coming home alone days work it’s not so bad.

My overall experience has been pleasant. Everyone here seems nice and respectful. The move has been ok so far. I’m still getting everything moved in.

Just moved in, but so far so good (based on one night). The air conditioning could be better, but everything else seems great. The pool is gorgeous, though.

The landscape is comforting. The vicinity is peaceful. There is privacy and calmness available in this community. Possibilities abound with tenancy here.

Love these unique , elegant, spacious apartments! Both pools have a very zen feeling and having an indoor pool allows me to enjoy them year round. The grounds are amazing! I can go for beautiful walks without leaving the grounds.

Alden Park is on an upswing in security, with gates going back into service, additional security personnel, and locking of storage areas. This architectural gem provides large well lit rooms, good sound control between units, and elegance you don’t find in newer builds. Its solid walls and floors had it being touted as a fire proof building during its early years.

3 stars for optimism. Moving in sucked. We could never talk to anyone when we had questions. Endless emails & voicemails left. The apartment we put a deposit on suddenly was unavailable. We were told they make up for the sudden inconvenience. We could pick an expensive unit (they would honor the price) or a cheaper unit. We chose the expensive one, but now said they can't honor the price? So we chose the cheaper one. A layout can't show you everything about a floor plan. Like only having 2 kitchen drawers, each not wide enough to fit a slim silverware set. Tons of problems like that would have been fixed if they answered our questions & emails about a tour, or staying up to date on availability (the original floor plan we wanted showed available 3 times on their site during this ordeal). When I asked them how they planned to help us out, I was told they already did by getting us the original move in date. Never mind that the unit was dirty with sticky floors & stained carpet.

Break ins and assaults and management company won’t be able to do a thing and lacks any accountability or empathy . My car was one of 20 that got broken into and security was nowhere to be found.

Residence on my floor are very clean and friendly. Everyone speaks and they keep their areas clean. So far, everything is good am I experience around the area is very acceptance.

Security is poor. I don’t feel safe outside between 6 pm and 6 am. The second night a strange woman stood in my entry foyer and hustled away when I shouted at her. She entered with keys. security Courtesy number disconnected. police came but no record of report. The security gates have been manned in evening only twice . The parking garage should have a gate. There is not enough parking. The package room is insecure , unmonitored and packages disappear. The keys to my bottom lock don’t work. The AC in my living room does not work and the maintenance guy never returned to fix it. My gas stove does not light. Electric ignition clicks but no smell of gas. It probably was never connected. The laminate floors are tacky. The refrigerator is huge, dented, will cost a fortune in electricity. supply 1st day toilet paper. moving crew stopped up the master toilet improvising . basement entrance floods. no security cameras. Loading dock beams look like will collapse. Poor structural integrity

I have to say that trying to get into Alden Park was initially one of the hardest things I have ever had to do because of shortages in staff at the time. Since I have moved in though, I have been able to connect directly with the newer, expanded residential management, maintenance, leasing, and security team whenever it is needed. The campus overall is not perfect by any stretch, but they do a great job of communicating via email and hand letter, maintenance is pretty fast and addresses issues pretty quickly. I love how calm and tranquil the campus is and folx are very friendly overall. My apartment is spacious, affordable, and beautiful. Again, there are some light issues with finishes and touches both in the apartment and in some of the general public areas but the overall feel and look is right. I'm looking forward to living here and experiencing what the rest of my time here will look like as Alden Park continues to improve and get better.
