Property Ratings at Alden Park Luxury Apartments
The facilities and apartment are great and we love them along with our neighbors, but it always feels like a struggle to reach the office to ask questions. My vehicle was hit in the parking lot over night and I called and left a message for the office with no call back. That seems to always be the case for the front office here.
Move in process was simple and employees were helpful. If you’re looking for privacy and security, Alden park is the place to live. A gate to get in and out of the entrance, fobs for every door and security 24/7.
My rental agent, Jamira is very professional, helpful & nice. The move in was good. I love the amenities. Was thrown off by the access gates being torn down by someone on my first day in my new apartment complex. It was a relief to see they fixed it a couple of days later.

Comfortable and safe community, incredible amenities. Beautiful campus But with a pretty big price tag. The rent is pretty reasonable, but many additional fees get added on (key fob, amenities (non optional), separate utilities but with a flat fee, etc) that get added on.

They have a beautiful community but due to its large property size, depending on where you live, you may think it's a little far. Each building has its own gym, and they have various pool options.

It’s a nice neighborhood but lacks surveillance cameras. Recently there were issues with vandalism and stolen packages, and improvement in security could avoid it.

My new apartment is great and the move was surprisingly smooth. I haven't had a single complaint since I arrived. Everyone in the building has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made settling in so much easier. The only small hiccup was navigating the narrow doorways with my larger furniture pieces. A heads-up about that would have been helpful, but it was a minor issue in an otherwise perfect experience. I'm genuinely happy to call this place home.

This place changed thru the years, not the same as when I moved here. In general, I don’t like it anymore. Management hasn’t been nice with current residents. Trying to bring new residents.

The community is beautiful, and I'm quite happy with my apartment. I had issues in the leasing office and did have to sign 3 separate leases, so I cannot give Alden Park 5 stars, even though the community itself is very nice.

Great place to live. The only draw back is a problem with the A/C. The amenities are beautiful and clean. Parking is very accessible. The staff are very attentive. We were referred by someone we trust and the building did not disappoint.

This place looks beautiful from the outside but it is actually a terrible place to live. Management is awful and not accommodating when they should be at all. I had a massive leak my bathroom that I had been telling them from the time I moved in that resulted in my wall disintegrating and then taking them almost a month to fix so I was left without a wall and half a ceiling. Since February I have been having a mouse issue and have caught 8 dead mice and many more live mice are still around. The management refuses to move me into a better unit even though my apartment is now a biohazard. DON'T MOVE HERE

1. Leasing agents are awesome, specially Jamira. 2. Although the staff maintenance is great, I don’t get an answer to my emails. 3. The building needs repairs. It’s sad to see such a beautiful construction without good taking care of. 4. There should be a fine for littering / actions that deteriorate the building. 5. It has beautiful gardens and surrounding.

maintence was quick but the only complaint i had is when i moved in everything was dirty and nothing was working even though the move in check list had it all marked down as good but overall not bad but just not what i expected tbh. It’s not “luxury”

Great place to call home parking isn’t the best wish garage was cheaper because I would 100% park in the garage instead of finding a spot in the lot. That would be my only complaint is the parking but other than that it is a great place. Great amenities and the staff if accommodating to any needs/ concerns I have in a timely manner

Too expensive and office staff communication skills aren't good. For the money they ask for rent the buildings should look more up to date. Communication is horrible. Example, one day before a surprise inspection of some sort, they sent an email that they were picking random apartments and just going to come in. People need to know when someone is going to enter your apartment in advance

I really wanted to give 3 1/2 stars but this does not allow that. And I gave that because I barely got to use the indoor pool and hot tub since I have been a resident. Whenever I put in a maintenances issue it’s get resolved right away. I always see the grounds keepers and cleaning crew when I am leaving AP and some times when I’m returning home. Security is always there. And the crew in the leasing office are always there to answer my question. It’s really the lack of access to the pool. Keep up with the social events I do like that you all are trying to make the castle that is AP feel like a community.

We just moved in on April 25th and it has been an amazing experience so far. The other neighbors are all incredibly nice and welcoming so far! Plus Keith the security guard helped us move our couch inside when we were moving totally unsolicited! He really deserves a raise or a bonus!

one of my only complaints is that we’ve had a broken sink in our apartment for months now and submitted multiple maintenance requests to fix it. they always say they can’t do anything and they’ll send a plumber to us but they never do.

The apartment is really nice and I was able to move in 2 days early but the gym has very little equipment. The stuff they do have is very old, rusty, and even broken. The sauna also looks like it has not been running in a while.

There was a mix of things both good and bad. GOOD: The area and complex are nice. The amenities work and hopping into the hot tub after work or the heated pool is amazing. We love our apartment. Morime from the leasing office has been very kind. Most of our neighbors are wonderful and most everyone has been friendly without it feeling fake. People thankfully keep their pets leashed. BAD: Long and difficult application process with lots of fees. However we did get in but even after moving in there still seems to be issues with paperwork and that they forgot this paper or this other one has wrong info. First day we moved in we left our dog in the apartment so we could start moving stuff and he obviously after a long drive from from the south. Someone slipped a note under the door telling us to "keep him quiet or they would go to the leasing office." He hasn't made a peep since because now he is calm, it was a stressful moving day and dogs bark no one else has even made a comment.

Alden Park is a great place to live. It is close to the city and also close to Chestnut Hill and the Wissahickon. There are many restaurants nearby too. It is only about a half hour from the Morris Arboretum and Gardens of the University of Penn.

The location and convenience of the complex is a prime draw. The buildings are gorgeous from the outside, and have nice features inside. Things I previously had issues with have been a little better here of late. The elevators haven't been breaking down. Security is actually visible and can be seen making rounds. I've started receiving email updates about maintenance tickets. The dumping grounds that were littered for a long time have been cleaned up. So it seems like management is listening to residents and trying to improve things.

As a whole my resident experience needs a lot of work. My apartment is great. But there are many things that need to be brought up in standard. The parking lot corridors looks dystopian. We didn’t know that we would have to use that entrance everyday. The community feel is not present! People will speak and greet each other but there isn’t any warmth and energy on the property. I didn’t realize that from the tour we took before moving in. The gym amenities are so out dates. The sauna is OUT OF SERVICE. The entry gate is always broken. You have guards that sit in their heated vehicles ALSEEP at the main gate when the gates are broken. I don’t understand how anyone can offer this as customer service. Parking lot system isn’t a system. Another resident parked in our spot more than once. My leasing agentAMAZING. It was a good experience. We grew through the process together. I just in Alden Park January 2025 and I really like it so far. It was very clean. No problem with rodents or bugs. Hot water works and the heat works well too. It's a lot of forms and paperwork to fill out online. My leasing agent Moremi Williams really helped out a lot. She stayed in contact during the application process. She was great from the tour to move in day! It might seem like a lot but she will walk you through everything. I recommend her and Alden Park for any future movers!

Alden Park is a great place to live. The only issue that I have is parking, but it is a safe and beautiful property with a heated pool. Maintenance is very good and comes to repair things quickly. The rent is affordable too.
