If you want to truly experience LA living, the Westside is where it's at. Linea is a new and well-maintained property. I recommend Carmel Linea. centrally located, high above ground, with 360 degree stunning views of Los Angeles, like you never seen her before. from the ocean and Santa Monica mountains , with undisturbed sunsets from a beautifully equipped rooftop is an evening ritual for us. swimming pool on the rooftop, with cabana style seatings and plenty of sunbath chairs, to modern grilling and party ready setup, makes this rooftop a must see. 24/7 gym as great as equinox in my personal experience, to a shared work space and conference room available to reserve when needed, makes it easy to want to stay in and work from home. the apartments are beautiful, clean and well designed. windows and doors are thoughtfully designed, to give you silence when needed a break from the city vibe. with the metro station around the corner, you can get to where you need to be, from DTLA to SAnta Monica, faster than you'll find parking at your destination. city life. we like it here.

As a renter, I believe the most important aspect of apartment living is the ability to address unexpected situations effectively. Since moving here from Finland in 2021, I have consistently had positive experiences with maintenance and have never encountered any significant inconvenience. Recently, I submitted a maintenance request for a few issues, all of which were resolved smoothly. The most challenging problem involved the heater, but thanks to Jose's leadership, it was successfully addressed. Although the process took longer than expected, I was impressed by the patience and professionalism shown by Jose and his team. I would also like to extend my gratitude to his team members, Luis and Carlos. Before moving to my current unit, I lived on the 9th floor for three years, where I recall Jose efficiently resolving several significant issues. Prior to living here, I stayed in a UCLA graduate apartment and in Finland, where I was generally satisfied with the maintenance services. However, my experience with the Linea maintenance team has been exceptional. Their kindness and dedication go above and beyond, making any minor inconveniences of living here seem insignificant.

Linea Carmel is an enjoyable place to live. I appreciate all of the amenities. Though large, the complex is surprisingly quiet. Plus it is close to transit, shopping and recreation.

Even though I initially didn't want to see the apartment because it was so close to Pico. When I finally decided to see the apartment I was impressed with the structure of the building and the apartment was very impressive.

Nice view and facility. The office carefully maintains the facility, from the gym to the roof-top pool. Unfortunately, some residents cannot keep their voices down during nighttime, which is an issue in most apartments anyway.

The staff was courteous and made it comfortable. However, the first day of housing the bedroom light and wifi port was broken and no one has come to fix it for over a week now. The room was also dirty in some places. Overall it was great.

Carmel Linea is an excellent community that I'm glad to call home. The grounds are impeccably maintained, the concierge desk is friendly and attentive and management is responsive and considerate. And the security here is excellent as well. I highly recommend Carmel Linea for luxury living.

Beautiful property, over-priced, substandard "service", not actually luxury staffing, property has constant breakdowns -- but great location, nice apartment units, ammenities are pretty decent when they are functional, and mostly (but not fully ADA) accessible.

Great amenities but below-average maintenance. I've only lived here for the last 3 months and already the following have stopped working and have taken sometimes days to fix: elevator, toilet blocking, hot water, fire pit switches and it take days to get a response. Everyone pays a lot of money to live here, its unacceptable.

Staff are nice but clueless. The leasing office was closed the day I moved in so there was mass confusion and I never received any orientation. Theres no managers for a 600 unit facility. My 4th floor unit is at GROUND LEVEL and in a corner that never gets sun - nothing like the unit i was shown. But the staff that's here are very nice.
