The upstairs neighbor's are super loud. It sounds like a WWE match going on at all hours of the day. Not to mention the bass of the music really adds a great touch. Smells like weed. No respect for the surrounding residents. Wish I had better things to say because I enjoy living here. Just wish the office would do more about the issues I have brought to them.
My experience has been good. I don't like carpets inside home. However, everything is good. It's amazing place for living. It's getting expensive but it's worthy it

Always responsive to maintenance requests. They did a good job clearing parking lots and sidewalks after recent snow storm. In general, grounds are well-maintained.

I dont know why I'm being charged $80 amenities fee. It's only me. And what are we going to do with the dog poo. It would be nice if towing is not enforced on holidays like in some apartments.

Good location close to beltway and shopping neighborhood is most quiet need to work in snow and ice preparation and removal some parts of property have not been touched and remain covered with snow now ice

Recently renewed my lease for a 2nd year. The staff in the office are friendly and professional. They attempt to resolved issues and address concerns. Angel is front and center and not hiding somewhere in the back. She is very kind and also insures issues to be resolved. In which I appreciate the efforts and to reach out tenants for the holidays to celebrate together. Maintenance is AWESOME, they respond immediately. Most issues can be resolved with 24 hours, if not an emergency. I would recommend this property due to my personal experience.
I truly feel that with the correct staff in place, this property can be great. Staff can come off as agitated when asking for assistance in the leasing office.
Maintenance is somewhat on top of things. I have seen a few roaches despite keeping my apartment clean. Rent is on the higher side for sure for the outdated appliances and small apartments. You only get one parking pass and your visitors have to pay or park on the street which is kind of annoying. Majority of the office staff are rude and nonchalant about the residents needs!

Great upgraded apt with stainless steel appliances and wood flooring for a fair price. The grounds are pretty safe except for the unaddressed car break in issues. There is also a roach problem. Your experience really depends on which build you’re in.

Cockroaches everywhere. Haven’t been here more than a week and my unit is infested with roaches. Extremely unhappy with this and I’m in constant contact with the property manager. There is no getting rid of the roaches.

The leasing office folks are friendly and helpful. The apartments are older which requires a lot of maintenance requests and energy bills are higher than normal due to poor insulation. Parking here is pretty scarce unless you pay extra monthly for a reserved spot. Pest control sprays kitchens and bathrooms once every few months but there are still problems with roaches.

I’ve lived here for almost a week and staff have been helpful, and neighbor seems safe and not to loud. I wish the trash didn’t look so bad everywhere and the second door to my apt needs a new coat of paint. The chipped paint look takes away from the building

The carpets are dirty. There are bugs in every corner. On my first night I had a cockroach in the kitchen sink and I haven't had a chance to open any food yet. The windows are dirty. The patch work to fix chipped paint is to just paint over the chip without cleaning it up first. The window sills are covered with all kinds of bugs. I'm going to have to strip my bed every night to make sure there aren't bugs in sheets.

From the day I moved in (2years ago), I have had pleasant experiences and encounters here at Lighthouse. The staff has been very helpful when an issue arises, and any maintenence that was needed was handled quickly and professionally. truly a nice place to live.

We’re in the apartment for 2 years now, so far staffs and maintenance team are awesome. Same concern since I started leasing here, pet owners are not compliant, dog poops are everywhere.

Quiet and neat. Though the elevator could be a disappointment at times,either too slow or getting stuck for some minutes on a particular floor.Generally it’s been a nice environment.

My time at Twin Lakes Lighthouse has been frustrating to say the least. I was told to sign a property review form without ever seeing my actual apartment before moving in only to find out there were many damages already present and everything had literally just been spray painted over and you have to sign a waiver for everything (including the lead paint!). Immediately after I moved in, the dishwasher wasn't working and I had to wait several months before it was ever fixed/replaced and during replacement, my cabinets and counter were broken more than they already were. The cabinets are falling in the middle, the countertop is slanted, and not all the doors close correctly. I've experienced so many maintenance problems and maintenance rarely helps. There were birds living in the dryer vent for a long time and they wouldn't put in the new vent that prevented birds from living in the vents; the dryer hasn't worked the same since. Research before moving, there's a lot wrong!

It’s been a year staying at the Lighthouse at Twin Lakes apartments and enough time has passed to write a proper review. With any apartment it’s always a roll of the dice, you never know how your time living here will play out. Everyone experience will be different. All I can do is list the pros and cons of me and my wife’s time living here. Pros: The office staff and maintenance were quick to solve and take care of any issues we had. Everything in apartment works great (lights, plumbing, dishwasher, laundry machine, AC and heating) No bugs, mice or rats. Cons (things that can’t be helped): The buildings stairwell smells like marijuana from time to time. The neighbors can get loud (music coming through the walls and you can hear every footsteps from above). The AC unit struggled in the 100 degree temperatures and we had to buy a portable AC unit. Overall me and my wife’s time living here has been good. Would we recommend living here? Sure I would.

The parking System needs to be reviewed. There is only ONE handicap parking on the lake house road side between when there are multiple spaces on the twin Lakes Drive side in front of EACH building. Visitors pay to park during the DAY prevents your tenants from Services from contractors or healthcare providers Because of the threat of their vehicle being towed away. Parking on the streets is limited because tenants with parking Decals park on the street. Paying to park at night is UNDERSTANDABLE but during the day is not.

My fiancé and I moved in recently and are very happy we choose this apartment. The neighborhood is quiet. The pool is beautiful and is great for these hot summer days! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Let’s not for get the wonderful friends, the ducks and the geese!

I love my apartment. I wish the hall rugs were cleaned often. The steps were mopped more frequently. Exterminators should come thru more often, but without you having to remove all your dishes and moving all furniture away from the wall. I have 2 full time jobs and live alone and dont have time to do all that. But it's ok,

Very clean environment. Pools is really big and has lots of fun activities . Also love it that is pet friendly. Schools and shopping area is super close and close to the highway
