Sitting on the north side of Minneapolis along I-35W, Blaine makes a nice, quiet hometown setting for folks who work in the Twin Cities but prefer an apartment in the suburbs. One of the city’s key landmarks is the National Sports Center, an enormous 650-acre complex that houses 50 full-sized soccer fields, a golf course, and the largest ice arena complex in the world.
Less-structured recreation is very popular here as well, with the large Rice Creek North Regional Trail Corridor and Carlos Avery State Wildlife Area just outside the city limits and several smaller public parks scattered around town.

Property Ratings at Lexi Apartments
Do not rent here, if you value privacy! Mgmt make excuses to enter units every month or two with very little notice. Halls always smell of dog urine. Appliances barely work. Oven won’t work while stovetop is on. Fridge/freezer seals are weak and stay open. Microwave sparks and sputters. No garbage disposals. No GFI outlets near sinks. Garage STINKS of garbage and smell gets in car fabrics. Parking lot and sidewalks are dangerous in winter, don’t plow well or often. They up-charge all the fees, even after a lease has been signed. Poor communication. What’s positive? It’s quiet. Location to freeway. That’s it. I’ve been a renter for 50 years. This is my worst experience in a rental! Do not recommend!
