I have lived here for 5 years and must admit the last year has been horrible. The staff is terrible. My lease has been messed up multiple times, and I am giving my 60-day notice. I have never had bugs and fleas in my apartment until this year. Rats throughout the buildings. The residents are terrible and let the animals poop and pee in the hallways, and they leave it! This place was very nice when I first moved in, now it has deteriated to nothing I want to live in.
The elevator worked for literally 2 days over the YEAR I was living there. The other elevator on the floor would also occasionally go out of service FOR MONTHS! The trash compactor room is disgusting. There is dog poo on all the lawns. When I asked the front office about it, they said, "There is nothing they can do about it." The parking garage door was also broken 80% of the time. The maintenance level of the building is very low; the apartment had a smell that I couldn't get rid of. BE AWARE - if you don't use their cleaning service when moving out, you'll be charged $300. For the price you would pay there, you can find a much nicer place in the area where things actually work!

Brandon was helpful during our tour and application process. Maddison assisted Brandon on our move in day and was very nice! There were some hiccups when it came to our move in day but overall they tried their best to assist and resolve the problems fast.

Living here has been a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is convenient, with easy access to public transport, shops, and schools. The maintenance staff responds relatively quickly to general requests. However, one major concern has been the ongoing issue with rats. Despite multiple complaints, the problem persists, especially around the garbage disposal areas and in some lower-level units. It’s unsettling and raises health concerns.

Community is nice, walkable to everything, but the rumors of the elevators always being down is true. So beware if you’re living on the higher floors. I brought it up to the leasing center on move in day and they turned a blind eye and pretended like they didn’t know. Resident stated it had been out for over a month.

Love the location and amenities — they’re great! However, I wish we had chosen a unit in the newer phase of the community. Since we were moving from another state, we didn’t have much time to research and decided quickly. If you’re considering moving here, try to avoid units in the Phase 1 building — it’s not as well maintained as the newer ones.

I moved in recently and was very disappointed. The apartment had cockroaches, damaged blinds, bent switchboards, and stains in cupboards. On top of that, the elevator hasn’t been working since my move-in, making shifting very difficult. Overall, not happy with the condition of the unit or the move-in experience.

I'm giving Legacy North 3 stars, mainly because the rent is inexpensive for the area. The amenities like the pool look nice, though I haven't used them yet. However, the biggest problem is the constant smell of garbage. It's everywhere—from the parking garage to the hallways. The policy of having residents leave trash outside their doors for collection makes the whole building smell. If they fixed that, it would be a much better place to live.

Things have gone downhill since I moved in. It was quiet and clean back then. Now the gates and doors are always broken. Trash in the hallways and parking garages. Graffiti and trash are never addressed in the parking garage. Full sized pickup trucks multiply in the garage over the months and love to park on corners forcing lots of near misses with oncoming cars due to the trucks sticking out of the spots so far. Cars that do not fit in a standard spot should be restricted to 5th floor parking for traffic safety. Loud music in the courtyards often. No one to contact after business hours to address this. I’ve had maintenance staff enter my apartment “accidentally” at least once that I’m aware of. Legacy North has a lot of potential but they need to spend the money on cameras and staff to address these concerns before this nice complex is run into the ground. Maybe get some courtesy police officers to move in.

We have put in multiple service request over and over again. If it’s something to repair inside our unit, the service is excellent. If it’s something as far as upkeep in the grounds, the service is absolutely terrible. We pay more to be in this building because it’s supposed to be more secure. However, since the new implementation of our security system, the back gate coming in from the garage has never locked. This is a security risk and our request go ignored. If safety is important to you, then I suggest you find somewhere else to live.

Community is good, but the staff are reluctant. They gave me the wrong keys on my moving date. I came with all my stuff in a U-Haul at 11pm and keys didn’t work. I called the legacy north emergency team and they said they couldn’t help me at this time. Sat in front my apartment door in the hallway and tried calling locksmith, nobody responded as it was almost midnight. Then I booked a room in hotel and stayed for the night with my family. Then I came in the morning to lease office for replacement of keys and they immediately did the replacement. Here comes the best part, again one of the keys didn’t work to unlock the apartment. I had to go to the leasing office again about the keys and again get it replaced. They gave me such a hard time on my first day as resident.

The entrances are dirty. The floors at the entrance need replacing or painting. The elevators are not working sometimes. Other things are good.

This complex was great a few years ago but it has gone downhill especially since they change management companies. The only good thing about this complex is the location. Aside from that, there is LOUD noise in all the pool areas 24/7, dog poop everywhere, rats and cockroaches everywhere, packages get stolen all the time, smell of marijuana EVERYWHERE, cars get towed all the time (including resident cars), and management will find a way to get more money out of you (they implemented valet trash even though they never come, they charge residents for common area electricity.. WHAT?! and charge you fees for EVERYTHING. trash admin fee, water admin fee, rent admin fee, admin admin fee. You can tell how much this complex has gone downhill with the amount of empty apartments. I literally cannot wait to leave. All the positive reviews are from people who have only toured the property or people who have just signed a lease but haven't lived here long enough to experience the negatives. BEWARE!

I’ve been getting bullied by my own leasing office since I moved in. Someone manually inputs a late fee on Friday knowing my payday is on Friday. Constantly being ignored my the office to fix these issues except for one person via email.

Been in Legacy North a couple years now and the experience has wholesome. There have been a few minor concerns but things get fixed rather quickly. Just fix the wellness center.

the management has just gone down hill the past two years living here, as a resident I’m very disappointed in the way I was mislead into a illusion of “luxury living” when there are rats and roaches galore, things are falling apart, management goes on power trips and locks everything up, I could go on and on.

We understand your concerns and want to take this opportunity to provide some context and updates. As part of our commitment to enhancing the community, we’ve launched a series of concentrated property improvements throughout 2025. This includes resurfacing several of our pools in preparation for summer. While we understand it can be frustrating to see amenities temporarily unavailable, these updates are essential to ensure our residents can enjoy the best summer experience possible. Regarding pest concerns, we recognize this has been a challenge in the past. Just two months ago, we partnered with Grenology to take on a large-scale sanitation initiative—including deep cleaning of trash chutes, bins, and the implementation of improved pest control strategies. While no system is perfect—especially in a community with ongoing move-ins and move-outs—we’ve seen a significant improvement and continue to monitor and adjust our approach as needed. We’re actively working to raise the bar and restore confidence in the quality and care of our community. We truly appreciate your time as a resident and hope you’ll see the positive changes taking shape.
Great experience..living here for more than 6 years and would continue unless I get my own house. Location is superb, walkable distance to shops at legacy.
