Property Ratings at Legacy Mill
This is place is god-awful. Not only is it way overpriced, but something is always broken, it's infested with bugs and it takes forever to even communicate with office staff. This is by far the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in or heard of. Live here if you want to be gaslit or just flat-out ignored by staff and maintenance. Also, good luck if you have an emergency because they'll just laugh at you and tell you to figure it out. Keep looking at other places and don't waste your time here.

Five words could sum up the office staff: useless, dense, unintelligent, malevolent, and unprofessional. The complex's summary: roaches, mold, garbage, smelly, and rundown. Save your rent money and look elsewhere!
This place should shut down. Trash galore causing roaches and bugs to be EVERYWHERE. Over priced for these horrendous living conditions. Constant maintenance issues and rude staff.

The community is quiet and the staff is friendly. We are thinking about moving because for the price the apartments are out of date. There are a lot more options in Athens now that are updated.

I just moved in and my experience has been terrible. The leasing manager was not truthful about their big problem. The buildings are not well kept. I am not happy with this apartment. I would not recommend this community to anyone!
Save yourself the troubles, dont live here. The staff and maintenance are horrible. If you need any type of repair or fixing, they will find the cheapest temporary fix ever.
If anyone is looking for a nice quite clean place to live the legacy mills is the place

The staff is professional and courteous.
I love living at Legacy Mill. Its a safe and well maintained property. The office staff and maintenance go above and beyond to make sure that issues are resolved swiftly. When my daughter and I moved in the office staff let her hang out in the office while I dealt with the movers. Great team of people and a Great place to live!
Legacy Mill is an especially nice complex if you have pets. All pets are on leashes and the proper equipment is provided for you to walk your pet and clean up after your pet. Everyone is courteous and the grounds are kept nicely to enhance your summer stroll. It is a quiet community with extra amenities. I especially like the car wash that is on the property! The maintenance crew are courteous, professional and get the job done.

Legacy Mills has been a God sent to me with open arms, allowed me to rent in 2016 when I came from Wisconsin, and had no where to turn, didn't know anyone, and displaced from my wife. Professional staff Feel secure Nice buildings and grounds
Gated, quite and nicely landscaped community. Good schools close by along with shopping, movies and most anything you need or enjoy. The complex has a pool, car wash, extra garages ( if you chose), nice set up for walking pets and stations to use to keep the grounds clean and nice. The gated community adds a feeling of security. Residents seem to obey rules and are pleasant.
A good place to live. Very convenient to all businesses and medical care.
Excellent place to live because of it location: close to schools, shopping centers, churches, etc. In addition, the office personnel is very nice, responsible and make you feel part of the community. They make you feel that they are happy with you living here.
I love living at Legacy Mill. It is close to everywhere I need to be. It is a safe, warm and welcoming community.
This apartment complex will nickle and dime you for anything you use. They claim to have great facilities for your use any time. The washer/ dryer usage is a charge for each and the quality of both washing and drying was extremely poor. The water bill is determined on the buildings meter not your own usage, no matter how sparingly you may use it. They use your security deposit before sending you your last and final bills. Just to name a few. Not to mention to renew your lease they raise the rent and the rooms do not include a fan or a light source but only wires if you choose to input your own. Highly do NOT recommend.

There is a laundry facility that has machines which charge upon use; there are also washer/dryer connections for residents in their apartments. The water is metered by the building and calculated by occupant ratio. If there any outstanding bills, the team does apply the security deposit to those before refunding the remaining amount. I Love this apartment, especially for a single person. Everything about the community, and amenities are wonderful......
Gates are usually broken and left open! Pool is usually closed! You have to share your apartment with huge roaches and spiders! Every maintenance request takes weeks to be even considered- even if your disposer or toilet clogged! Not very friendly management and office staff(they pretend to be nice when you want to sign the lease contract), Dog poop everywhere! I have been living here for more than 2 years and it is getting worse every day.

Be sure you at least see a model apartment before signing a lease. We were told there wasn't one available for us to see so we only saw floor plans on a brochure and that was a mistake for us.
Legacy Mills used to be awesome, but they changed management and things have kind of gone downhill since then. The manager can be a little passive aggressive when asked to address issues and it takes FOREVER to get a maintenance request resolved, even if it is urgent. Overall I love the location and the apartment itself is very comfortable, quiet, and clean. Just pray nothing breaks you can't fix yourself.
It has been a great apartment home for me as a college student.
Its a nice place to live it might sound like it cost a lot to. Live there but you have to break the bill down and know what all comes with the apartment and it is a great price if you go try and rent a nother place or rent a house you will pay double plus its gated and the office shows use how they appreciate use living there by have get together and being nice its like. Everybody that lives there and even office people and Mantince men are like family plus we feel safe because its gated

Its a very nice and clean place to live they have plenty of stuff to offer a lot of people dont know about like the laundry mat and the weight room and we have a pool and grills and I have looked at other places to move to like houses and its cheaper to live there for what all you get for your money and the place is very clean and safe at all times I enjoy living there and dont plan on moving any time soon
This is my second time living at Legacy Mill. The location is extremely convenient to everything. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. The staff has always been pleasant. Feel very comfortable living here.
We love living here. Office staff is very nice and so are the maintenance guys. We enjoy the annual pool parties and the free chicken sandwich every once in a while. People around us are also very nice and peaceful and the entire facility is always kept clean and beautiful.
I love living at Legacy Mill. The staff works hard to meet the needs of the residents. It centralized location makes getting to where I want to go very easy. Plus my family is very grateful that I live in s gated community.

I have generally been more than satisfied with this apartment complex. It has been quiet and safe for the 3 years of my stay. I like this location and this side of town. Everything is easily accessible. The property is properly maintained and has currently been going through updating the fitness center and landscaping. You'll find no problem renting here. I recommend it.
